It's funny how the diesel Peugeot sounds like a truck onboard but outside the car it just sounds like whooshing air.

Probably cause the cockpit is close to the engine compartment. So you hear all the engine sounds. If you are in the stands it is quiet. its the same for the Audi R10.

I first scrolled straight to the start, didn't even notice there was actually full onboard in the 908! Cool. I've been eager to see longer onbaord from 908, during races they only show max 5 second clips... Thanks for posting!

That was actually pretty fast lap - qualifying pole was 1:58 and this was 1:59 or 2:00. Incredible how stable the car looks, only one correction in the whole lap. I'd like to see same lap without traction control. :|

When I watch any race at this circuit, the first thing that cames into mind is that overtake of Mika Hakkinen with McLaren F1.
