I am a pole vaoulter, and from experience i can say that managing 3 meters is no prob. beyond that you cant rely on speed and bounce alone :) you need to do constructive training

Mavriksfan11, in 2009, 9 sophomores jumped 15 feet or higher. Only 1 of them won state (he was from Louisiana) Don't call people liars because a a decathlete was once ranked 40th in the world and didn't clear 15 as a sophomore. There's a hecka lot more to the decathlon than pole vault.

@UTubeIsFullOfPussies if that is ur definition of an extreme sport that pole vaulting is definitely an extreme sport. flying through the air on a fiberglass or carbon fiber pole and landing on a relatively small mat would be consdered very dangerous if not done properly. i have 2 fractures and a slipped disk. pole vaulting is dangerous but like anything. if done well and correctly you wont get hurt. extreme bmx, skateboard, and inline people dont always get hurt cuz they're good. same for pole
