I remember sitting in front of my tv flicking through the channels for a programe I was supposed to watch, and just happened to land on Moonlight by accident. I don't normally watch these kinds of programes, but this one had me hooked.

It was a legendary series which got canceled but they are regreting it. alex(mick) wants it back really badly so they are thinking of bringing it back soon (but not really soon) more like mid/end of 2011 :P!

This is the best show to come along in years!!! I've tried to watch True Blood but honestly, how many stereo types of the South can they fit into one show? Not to mention, I really don't need to see nudity to make it a great show. Moonlight is FAR BETTER than True Blood or Twilight. I tried to read the Twilight books as well but they're written for a younger crowd and I much prefer my vamps to have fangs, not poison and my vamps certainly don't sparkle! VSRRR!!!

They released a dvd set with the 16 episodes that were made a couple of months ago. You can get it for around $25. No extras on the DVDs, which sucks, but it's a good way to get through Mick withdrawls.

Moonlight may have stolen the convertible driving vampire detective thing from Angel, but Angel stole it from Toronto-based Forever Knight first.. wich itself was a remake of a failed US pilot set in LA called Nick Night starring a vampy Rick Springfield in a convertible.

And every one of them ripped off the brooding-vamp-who-hates-to-kil­l angle from Dark Shadows' Barnabas.

In fairness Angel was a vampire with a soul seeking redemption for the horrible acts he'd commited in his past

Where as Mick is a vampire who simply chooses to do good.

Besides it's not like Angel is coming back to tv screens anytime soon so it's nice to see something similar again

I am so pissed off! First there is Blood Ties getting cancelled, I found that out a couple months ago. I just found out, a few minutes ago that this show got cancelled earlier this year, what a waste of good film. They show shit like the Girls Next Door on t.v. but not this show or Blood Ties?
