@jerrypz I think the other meaning of "kills it" applies. Reminded me of the South Park episode where the boys' goat gets mistaken for Stevie Nicks.

Any half-baked chick singer can moan above and below pitch, wandering on and off rhythm, sort of articulating the words while the band does the hard work (I've backed up a ton of them). It's amazing how many rubes will mistake bleating for skill. What Sophie and the two other vocalists are doing is much, much harder (BTW, Tina cuts Sia too).
