Eh that's what setting 1 is for , it happens no big deal really , just glad it didn't happen when it matters most. BTW, try Gunfixer's gas plug I got one and it runs BEAUTIFULLY .

Yeah 2 is for 2 3/4 bird shot mostly and 1 is for anything else. Also pay close attention and make sure that the selector is screwed all the way in BEFORE you select your setting. Very cool looking by the way. thanks for the upload.
+1 on the pistol grip conversion. Might want to get some sights on there too. With that UTG top rail you are open to all sorts of AR 15 BUIS combos, along with optics.

Just a thought, You seem to be used to jamming.
I might suggest making sure you have 3 ports (Unobstructed) at 3/32nds each.
A lot of these were released with the ports too small & yours is symptomatic of this issue.
You can drift the gas block forward & enlarge your ports to 3/32.

Shurefire mags only like to chcle the last rounds of 3" high brass in the 8 round configuration. Surefire even admits this.
Hop onto the Saiga-12 forum & we'll get you set up right.
We have a few LEOs that run tuned AGP-10s in theirs & carry them on duty. They CAN be made as dependable as an 870.
BTW.... CONVERT THAT BEEYHATCH!!!

I saw a few videos of the Saiga 12 and it seems that it likes to 'stovepipe' or jam a lot. Is that a common issue with that type of firearm.
Personally I would rather use a pump shotgun if my life depended on it, or my M4A2.

On the front where you see the slotted adjuster with a 1 or 2. @ works for slugs and 1 seems to work better for shot.
