I love the last couple of Darkthrone albums and I´m glad he obviously changed his mind. TH remains a unique monument, though.

@godofmetal712 I would say Transilvanian Hunger. I still like A Blaze In The Northern Sky best though. Transilvanian Hunger has a few vocal contributions by Varg Vikernes, which is kinda cool.

seriously, I listen to metal for POWER. thus, I listen to power metal, talent unsuppressed.

When I hear black metal, I hear moaning, groaning, and what he describes as the feeling of "cold".

You're right Techno, but don't forget the misanthropic and nihilist aspects as well. Darkthrone pioneered those elements in early Black Metal and excelled at it throught their following albums. You can just feel it while listening to any piece by them.
