DJM-800 Harmonic function with a vinyl turntable, SL1200mk 2

Was the harmonic button feture made for vinyl like the master tempo on the cdj's, or would it be possable to change the key of a track??? Say im running a track in A minor, can i change the key? and to what precent does it change.

good vid you can do what you did with the pitch on the cdj on a staton str8-150 has key lock on the pithc you can go at +50% dut it will play as if it was aat o% as i owen str8-150 for some time know !! thank for all the vid's that you do

very clever. i'll stick to my 1200's and allen & heath, but then this don't matter too much when you play d n b. still very impressive. ive used ttx1's but you need to connect them digitally to get the function to work

I like this Mixer very much but i dont use the Harmonic Effect cause my Denon DN-S 3500 has KEY ADJUST and its Sounds very Well when you usw 4% Pitchrange!

i hate master tempo i never use it coz it makes the track skip very very slightly so sometimes messes my fades up

I have one of the early DJM-800's.. I know on mine the harmonic function sounds as if the CPU on the mixer is maxing out - it adds artifacts to the sound. Do you notice this on yours?

the harmonic dial(when used 3.22 thereabouts) reminds me a lot like the sound that occurs when the "Zip" function is initiated on the Pioneer CDJ 200's.Only,on the djm mixer(in this) the sound is a lot more stable,and smooth.

This has already been covered in previous videos, there again is no need to cover it again:(. I believe that some of the Stanton range of turntables have key lock, not too sure about the Numark range though.

Numark TTX has key lock and master tempo. Those works only on line output/digital (but not at phono output);)
