  • Is it me or are Sports reporters simple. 3 games gone and already they are writing LFC off for the prem, they should take a leaf from my book and dismiss there chances, the same day the last season ended.

  • When Carra started by tackling Mascherano in midfield before head-butting Skrtel, I knew was going to be a difficult season. :-\

  • hope your ok harry, long time no pisstake and all that.

  • Not bad, and you too I hope.

We got shot of Dossena, the world's most expensive park footballer, so the season's looking up.

  • 2009 - Another great final in Rome :D

  • to take on a well known scouse phrase (when talking about the prem) "theres always next year". go on Toffees.nicnicnic

  • Or Johnny Logan...'What's Another Year?' :D

I remember arguing with a friend after losing out on the double to Wimbledon in the FA Cup ... those chances just don't come around that often, next year is never going to be the same. (unless Liverpool play Chelsea in the CL again and again and again)

  • 12months I think or 52 weeks and a day, unless your in a leap year then it gets complicated. oh Mr sanchez, I remember that goal, not as good as Mr Thomases but celibrated just as much at the time.

  • I'm sure everyone else did, it's still probably the biggest upset in a cup final I've ever seen.

If only the referee had allowed Beardsley the advantage when he was through ... he was probably a closet Gooner.

  • @Tyron912 YOU WIN ALL THE TIME BUT YOUR MANAGER IS STILL A WANKER AND BY THE WAY YOU TALK ABOUT SCOUCERS JUST SHOWS YOUR MENTALITY

  • lol. Chill out boys and girls, most people learn to deal with this stuff in the playground.

I'm sure that championship 'Everton' won in 18-something-or-other should be credited to Liverpool anyway. ;D

  • Well pointed out Harry, a slight variation on what you wrote above. shouldnt it be the 1st few Liverpool championships credited to Everton, due to your squatter ways when you had them evicted from their own ground.

  • I have always said that " if a so called top 4 team can take 13 points form there top for matches, they will win the prem" nice to see liverpool prove me wrong.

  • your math are brilliant ,shame about your understanding of English, the above message by me says. IF a top 4" it dont specify any team, all you have pointed out is is liverpool manged to get 14 pionts that makes it worse MATE. I had a look for the statement that says "this is a LFC site only" your worse than Mary Whitehouse

  • Did better against the rest of the big4, and the top half than any other team, but too many draws at home mostly due to goals conceded, but a couple of scoreless ones as well.

The injuries to Torres hamstring in October and November made a difference, when Liverpool should have been building a lead at the top of the table. Next season the FA's Agent Parry won't be around to hold Rafa back...or sp-nk the whole budget on Robbie Keane.

  • thats why you dont have a great team, unless torres and gerrard were playing together, its as if 1s out, your lost for ideas. United lost quite a few points while the spine of are deffence was injured but instead of going on about it .we got on with the games knowing we had an understrenth team, think about it united nearly had a 2nd 11 out when the got beat 1. 4 at home how else could this happen.

  • some peeps just dont know what banter is. " this is true don"

  • look young man, I never said I could spell or that i was a professor of words. But just because Im a retard, dont mean i dont know the stupidty of yourself. you Support Liverstool nuff said

  • there not my veiws there in the history books. yes I know history is writen by the winners. Thats why United have there say.your veiws are so last 16seasons ago. love as always" your master". (thats me you big thicko) your my wife now dave

  • see what you mean about trudon, tyron just checked the history books myself and yes your right but we are still the most successful british club in europe. so there

  • 1 last ? you dont have to answer if you dont want I wont force you too Mary. is the name trudon short for a scousers FAV pastime, as in " we love to intrudon people when they are fast asleep in there beds"

  • no Tyron912 is a real name, not the 912 bit but glad you told me about your sexuality do you know Holly Johnson, if no, relax as when to tribes go to war, thers only 1 winner. UNITED welcome to the pleasure dome

  • I can remember when LFC was a good team. just shows how old I am. saying that it seems like only 16 years ago since LFC has 11 more championships than us.

  • who made you MR Editor, if harry takes my comments down fair play. do you realy think I didnt know what you ment. if so then your sick, ( thats not good)

  • lol, I won't censor, I just gave it the thumbs down. :P

In a dull match, sometimes the only fun is baiting the opposition supporters; it's part of the game.

  • Even a 'poor' Liverpool team (containing Djimi Traore ffs!) managed to create the "best sporting moment of all time"* in Istanbul - the Final from the Gods.

I suppose Barcelona was a nice piece of luck after 90' of stumbling around, but Moscow was just dire. Mind your backside in Rome. :P

    * as voted by readers of Norwegian newspapers Aftenposten / Aftenbladet. ;D I only know because their coverage included a link to this video.

  • must admit it was the best come back in a euro final that I have seen, but not the most dramatic " 99 " Funnaly enough we had already done the same in the FA cup with cole and york. you may remember it

  • Only till next week son then the crown belongs to old trafford, check you history books. I'm right.

    Now stop boo hooing.

  • it is for you not for us.

  • dis is siiiiiiiik

  • I know what you mean. it makes me puke as well.

  • 1977 - Rome - Emlyn hughes

    1978 - Wembley - Emlyn hughes

    1981 - Paris - Phil Thompson

    1984 - Rome - Graeme Souness

    2005 - Istanbul - Steven Gerrard

  • Ino he was such an inspiration on and off the pitch.

  • im related to emlyn hughes

  • The pictures of him receiving the European Cup in 1977 and '78 will always be one of the greatest moments in Liverpool's history.

He played with the commitment supporters always expect, and not many players can deliver.

  • im a arsenal fan though, go to nearly every home and away matchs :P

  • RIP Crazy Horse.
