I may be mistaken, but I suspect that neither Bernie nor Will are playing live in the studio with you in this clip.
I could record myself playing to a backing track of Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman and promote it as "Recording with the Rolling Stones rhythm section . . ."
But, that would be jive.
Are Bernie and Will in the studio with you in this clip? If so, cool. If not, don't resort to hyperbole to sell your CD.
@cedarsiding Serious man? your telling a master on his instrument who he needs to play like? and if you researched before you criticized you would realize that he did record with Will Lee and Bernard Purdie. You have not recorded with the Rolling Stones. At least to my knowledge... So that was a jive comment. Come on dude! respect this clip for what it is! Tomo playing real, musical, tasty blues music.

WOW Tomo, you're one of my favourites, I'm From Argentina and i don't think that i'll be able to get your album over here... and i don't like to buy it from i tunes or such, beacause i like to have de cd case with all the data of the recording.... too bad.. :(
Seems like every time I log onto TGP there is a clip of you playing with some icon. Honestly, no kidding, I enjoy your playing just as much as any of these guys you record/jam with. When I think of a journeyman guitar player, I often think of you. In my eyes you represent the level of skill, tone, healthy attitude that a pro player should have. You can do a lot of things the right way. Guess it is, the way you get things done, your tone, choice of music, Fender Pro Rev....
Thanks for your kind. Music is always a part of my dreams. Slowly but steady ... I would like to push more.. I am very fortunate to be able to this. It took me from 3/08 to 3/09 to record with Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, Steve Jordan and Will Lee. I am very happy about the result. I am planning to release this cd around 3/2010! Yes, Pro Reverb! The best amp in this planet!
Thank you so much! It was very tough to choose a few grooves ... with Bernard Purdie.. I love his 12/8, shuufle, swing, and funk! So tasty. Thank you.
Bernard Purdie has been one of my heros for many years. He is everybody's idol. Beautiful person, fantastic playing. I can't even describe .... What an honor!
Thank you so much! We have recorded 3 tunes from this session. I was listening these tracks... man, fat groove! We have 2 versions of slow blues... both.. I love them.
Space, use it.
