  • You are blessed. Absolutely beautiful. you lucky devil.

  • Fantastic my friend! Keep it up :) !

  • Ever notice how a mandolin goes: "TWINK, TWINK, AFUCKA TWINK, TWINK, TWINK TWINKYFUCKATWINK", no matter what song is played or who ever is playing the damn little necked monster?

    ROFL!

GOOD JOB YOUNG MAN, KEEP A PLUCKING!

  • Good work, son. I just picked up my guitar and played along with you. It was fun not knowing what was coming next- just like a real session. Fischer's hornpipe started out as I know it but got strange after the 1st time through. Is that your own variation?

  • Good stuff! I learned these tunes on the fiddle and just started playin them on the mando. Like how you threw in the chords on the sailors hornpipe

  • Awesome pickin! Great job!

  • A great job! Thanks for posting it. That'll be my inspiration for the next year or two. Keep practising.

  • The first one is "green fields of america" wich is played differently in irish session

  • Thats commonly known as 'Whiskey Before Breakfast' in Bluegrass circles.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • very nice indeed. any chance of the tabs for any of these? thanks.

  • RIP Butch B, check out Baldassari's '30 Fiddle Tunes For Mandolin'. Great book.

  • Nice! You never skipped a beat in five minutes!

I think you did the Butch Baldassari version of Whiskey Before Breakfast in the beginning? I do it too, from his video :-)

  • sounds good man!

  • How the heck did you get my mandolin and what is that weird looking mando in the background?

    :)

    Good job Chris, sounds great!
