On scouting purpose. The NE would take too much time to destroy it with its units in the beginning and so it gets almost always ignored and at best a Ancient of War/Ancient of Lore/Ancient of Wind will be placed right beside the farm - but mostly it gets ignored the whole game and if not its just 80 gold + 20 wood for like 5-10 minutes free scout. Good trade I guess
