As a kid, I looked bad; so I dressed bad. I got the natural reaction. I stopped dressing down. Turns out I don't look bad. I suggest not dressing up. Just dress.

Also, I'm short. I used to act short. Now I'd learned to be myself. I've overcame superficial mentalities.

I hated the 90's male-bashing (I had the same hostility you seem to have). But I only got this attitute from TV(I didn't socialize). I could've just turned off the TV.

However, guys are always going to look at you like a sex object and there is no way around that. I think what you need to do is be real careful when your dating and who you hang out with. Make sure you get to know that person real well before you decide there ok and make any kind of commitment. You will have a lot of trouble knowing if they like you for you if you get intimate with them to soon. There are some guys out here that believe in morals, family and most important God.
