They reinvented the wheel and who knows, maybe will have flying cars, silent helicopters, more efficient airplanes, a machine controlling the air stream inside house or the Earth airstream, will be able to control and make tornado even hurricane. You can buy original Dyson for $300 or Chinese copy for fraction of that price.

It all depends on that one wants, brand and quality or just functionality.

Perhaps when the newness wears off, the price will come down... way down. I think it is a brilliant item, but would be nice if it was more affordable. Still does not cut my craving to have one. : (

There are quite a few vids online. The sound is a much higher pitch because it's a high RPM motor inside... very annoying if you ask me. Compared to a normal desk fan which is a much lower hum. Who gives a shit if the air isn't smooth?
