I was on the angle at the 135th reenactment.

came home with a black eye, a fat lip and a love of all my fellow reenactors.

You got beat up that bad at a reenactment? I was at Gettysburg 145, and I'm glad that didn't happen to me, but at Pickett's Charge on Sunday I heard there was an altercation when someone at the Wall tried to take their opponent's colors. What did the rebs do to you?

I'm actually in Gettysburg as I type this! The battlefield is very sobering. I'm awe struck by it all...

It's all good, I just figured I'd post this in hopes that it will give people a good laugh. My friends and I are funny people by nature and just like to have a good time. This is far from accurate, and in my opinion, I think that's part of its charm.
