the exact amount we need is exactly 5% of total calories in protein that is 100kcal of 2000 or 125 of 2500 (25g/31g) a day. But i guess u could need twice as much if u eat cooked(destroyed) food. research the china study, research 80/10/10(dont research what supplement sellers and their brainwashed clients think about 80/10/10) min 80%carbs, max 10% Fat max 10% protein.
haha u can eat vegan and eat as unhealty as average americans. and you can eat cooked vegan and its so healthy that you reduce your risk of civilization diseases about 90-99% depending on the different disease. and you can be really healthy and eat RAW VEGAN but 80/10/10(read the book "the china study") and you become almost unable to get diseases. I am eating about 20-30g of protein a day on 160 lbs, thats the exact amount i need. more is useless. much more is damaging.
