  • I'm sad your father died at such a young age. He sounded like a really nice man. My Dad's dad (my Grandpa) died when he was only 50. It really sucks when people die at such a young age... :(

  • Peter,

I have been a long time subsciber to your videos and I love them generally.

    However...

The fact that you enjoyed "rabbiting" (i.e. killing rabbits) was quite surprising to me.

I am a meat eater myself, but I certainly wouldn't "enjoy" killing the animal myself, or like to think of anyone else "enjoying" killing that animal.

The killing of that animal is required if you're gonna eat it, but it shouldn't be fun.

  • Shut up dude! It was a totally diferent generation! There were no vegetarians or animal wellfare. It was viewed as acceptable.

  • its called hunting dumbass, hunting is fun to ALOT of people. u just have led a shitty sheltered life, we have a name for people like u, PUSSIES

  • love your tale ---my life was similar , but as a kid in the 194os in australia.

  • Thanks so much. We don't take the time to remember such things often enough. Hearing you reminds me of my Father and Grandfather.

  • i love your video

  • Why the hell did you say that !!!!

  • talking bout my generation!

    Nice video!

  • I love all your stories Peter. :)

  • Peter, you are quite simply an inspiration to me.

Words cannot describe what you are!

Please continue with your post's as they truly are greatly appreciated by the vast majority.

Sadly as you yourself know, there are stupid people who come here to do nothing but make ridiculous and unwated comments, I hope these peopels would stop as you mean a great deal to me.

    Thank you Peter.

  • well i am glad you and your father were close and loved each other and spent alot of time together. Very glad. The good old days, simplier and nicer times I bet. Interesting and funny, you made me smile a few times peter. 'what he wanted with a tractor i dont know!' dads can be quite strange! 5 stars

  • Peter, It is always lovely to hear your stories. You are so articulate, & full of love. Your Father must have been very proud of the man you grew up to be. If he can see you now ( I bet he can!!), I know he's even more proud today. You are wonderful!! Liz Abbott U.S.A.

  • peter have you considered buying a good microphone? you would be amazed at the difference.

  • Thanks, Peter! On your most recent video, you sound much clearer! However you had volume set with the "Ain't Telling" vid seems to be best for me but, of course, not sure about other folks! I always enjoy your videos!

  • i dig........

  • Geriatric is REAL.

  • Great story Peter. Most relaxing ten minutes. Always love the stories and your smiles. xoxoxooxo

  • aww your great

  • Peter you are what makes YouTube great. Love your stories. Wish my grandfather (or my father for that matter) had recorded his childhood memories. It would be nice to reminisce...

  • hello youtubers.

  • What happened to Peter. He said he would never go on any show, yet he did. His videos used to be in his home with his own decorations, now the background is a photo of himself. I know that he explained his appearances on programs but face it...he lied! I think the old senior moments are coming to the front as well as his ego.

  • So, you won't allow an old man to change his mind? I bet you would call him stubborn if he wasn't able to so now and then!

  • =]!

  • The guys name was Les Loken

  • Thanks for all the great videos gretiaric1927

If you get a chance check out Gingeronymous Channel of an older fellow telling stories of world war 2

  • Great video and worth five stars. Please check out mine: UK YouTube - The Censored Version lol

  • Wonderful video and story, Peter. Thanks so much for posting. Enjoy the "American Invasion". I'll look forward to your videos of your time with the other YouTubers. <3

  • Its so cool that you always have something interesting to talk about. Great work Peter, hope to hear from you soon.

  • Glad to see your video this morning Peter :)

  • Nice video Peter .

  • Peter you are an amazing man! Thank You for everything! My grand father passed away a year ago and he used to tell me so many stories about the 30's and 40's, especially during the war. You remind me so much of him!

  • Peter, you sweep me away with the stories of yesteryear. I am very pleased that you make time for us. I do so love hearing you speak. I use to love riding 8+ hours to go and see my grandparents. The excitement was almost overwhelming. There would be Grandma's goodies & new games & lessons from Grandpa. It was a treasured time. Thank you for sharing your smile and life's lessons with us Peter. You sure are a charmer. Your #1 fan, Melody

  • What great memories,

    HAPPY FATHERS DAY Peter.

  • Oh, memories of learning to drive.. and singing! My da whistled and sang. Never lived to karaoke, either, but would have loved it! "Off like a bullet"? Not from the beans?? LOL! Tractoring uphill? Funny, dad! Love your work Peter.. love your smiles while telling of your dad. {{hugs!}}

  • Your the man Peter! Your like the grandpa I never had.

  • Watch out for Zipster, he's a crazy one.

  • EVERYBODY GO CHECK OUT MY VIDEOS!

  • When are we going to see your visitors from Monday-Tuesday?

  • Thank you Peter for your story today about your father and learning to drive, and how he was always singing, and how he taught you to shoot - that was so funny about you being blown over when you first shot the double barreled shotgun! So nice to hear about your Dad and your fond memories. My own Dad passed away 27 years ago and of course I still miss him so much. Thank you again and keep making these wonderful videos.

  • I enjoyed that little story Peter.I am glad to see you are doing well.

  • Enjoy your videos PETER

  • It's good to see you looking well Peter.

It's a pleasure watching your videos, they are really interesting.

    Hope we speak soon!

    Rick.

  • Peter: The memories expressed about your dad are very warming, very pleasant to listen to; I wish the memories were mine but they are not but because I enjoy your stories, by proxy, those memories are mine! Please continue relating these wonderful memories.

  • Hi Peter, Glad everyone got there safely :) Have a hamburger for the good ole U.S.A. on Huey hehe Always great to hear your stories, Peter. You're very lucky to have been close to your Dad. I loved my Dad but when he tried to teach me to drive he screamed and yelled and told me I was stripping the gears and that was that ...I had to get a drivers ed teacher hehe Love, pi

  • Its nice to see you were so close to your dad :)

    Your stories are so great!

  • Very nice Peter,it's good to have fond memories;)

  • if you compare life back then with life now the changes are phenomenal! At least you can look back on such happy memories!

Keep on posting! You're views are so thought provoking!

  • Another great video, just a shame that the comments section was spoiled by an attention-seeking prick with serious issues. 5/5 for the video Peter, keep them coming, I love hearing your stories, you are the man

  • My father also died at age 54. I miss him dreadfully, as you must've when you were younger. Thanks so much for these stories. They are very soothing and interesting.

    Lynne from Alaska.

  • Peter, you are lovely. I really look forward to your stories. Will you marry me?

  • Thank you again, Peter!

  • I can't stop smiling! I was laughing with you throughout the stories of your father, Peter. It reminded me of times when Ma and her sister would get together and tell stories about growing up. How we would laugh at some of the stories as they were retold, just as you were laughing!!

    Thank you so much, Peter!

  • I can't believe people on the net these days I mean I'm 25 but you know some people need to show some respect.

  • Thank you for your stories. I too have a great relationship with my step-dad. My real dad died when I was three. I am 33 years old and we love to go fishing and hunting together.

  • you know what? you actually look younger than when i saw your first vid many moons ago. looks like u-toob is the fountain of youth for you mate :)

  • Nice stories again! I love listening to you, because I have lost my two grandfathers a few years ago.

  • nice video peter =)

those people who leave the bad comments are lifeless assholes

  • Once again great video! love seeing you laugh ^_^

  • Take no notice of those who leave abusive comments. We all get them, but they just have nothing better to do in their lives. It's sad really. Keep bringing us the blogs.

  • What the hell??? This is exactly the kind of thing YouTube should be for... not videos from people like you which just choose to briefly insult someone or "happy slapping" videos...which i can only guess is the type of video you would put up.

How about you get off the internet and leave us all to enjoy what we're watching!

  • fuk u u dont hav 2 watch, some people find happy slappers pathetic thanx

  • have some respect you low life piece of crap,he's probably seen more things in his life then you ever will.

  • *Kisses Peter on the head* :-)

  • You're cool.

  • I really enjoy your stories peter, keep them coming =)

  • Great video. You were incredibly lucky to have a dad like that.

  • Been waiting a long time for the return of Telling It All. Thanks Peter!

  • The UK would be begging like a don't for forgiveness

  • The American invasion lol if it came to that Britain wouldn't have a chance really

  • It's such a pleasure to watch your videos. I can be in the kitchen cooking dinner or feeding the kids and we can all listen to your stories. My grandmother always use to come visit for an hour or two and have tea while I'd bake a cake or cookies (I love having company in the kitchen) but she's getting to the point it's hard for her to come over. So thanks for visiting me in my kitchen... :)

  • I hope that you continue to post videos, it's refreshing to see the older generation use modern day tools like computers. Sounds like you had an interesting life so far, keep it going!

    Good luck!

  • so i've figured it out..at the age of 21, most would say i'm yet inexperienced in life; being a US marine, i beg to differ that opinion. but, the feeling i get listening to your life stories gives me something i haven't felt since being a young child watching mister rogers' neighborhood.

  • great story peter, what was it like during the war?

  • God bless you. (Y)

  • God bless you.

  • Those are some great stories! I feel like going to visit my grandfather and listen to his stories now.. Maybe I'll do that next week.. Thanks alot for this Video-log. I enjoyed it. Thanks .^^

  • My Granddad used to tell me stories about bringing shire horses from the field to the stable and how when he eventually got the halter on the horse would raise his head and lift my granddad off his feet, all the way to the stable.

  • I am so glad that you had a great time. and I love to hear your word. when you tell about it.

  • Great to have your Telling it all blogs back Pete, they've been sorely missed

  • Thank you so much for sharing those stories, they're great to listen to! :) What you said about the pony and the tractor had me really giggling!

  • You remind me of my Grandad its a good thing :)

  • oh shod the pony.

I first I thought you said shot it.

  • Great story and Great picture in the background Peter.

  • Respect:)

  • i enjoy your stories ver much and wonder if you had children of your own? how lucky they are or would have been all the best and thank you!!!!

  • Great story Peter! It's good to remember and talk about things. Keeps the mind going. You are doing very well! No problems with your memories.

    Thank you Peter :)

  • Great video peter, really good ! :)

  • you're very wise and I like hearing your stories. Could you please do a video regarding hows teens are seen today as in most people think we're all law breakers and thugs. Thank you.

  • Hear hear! Youth is so downgraded by the mass media. I would like to hear some stories about how strong and giving and focused our youngers are today. I KNOW there are bazillions of examples out there. Peter, maybe this is not a subject for you, but ehty, maybe for YOU and your friends..?? I have young friends (my daughter's, many of whom are my "kids") who are brilliant.. If only I could get them on YouTube. (hiding video camera up sleeve - heeheee!)

  • you should get a tattoo and videotape getting it

  • Oh, i love the happiness your memories bring to you...and i love the happiness in your sharing.

  • fantastic story

  • who cares!!!!!!!!

  • you obviously care enough to reply to me

  • UserNameInvalid92 and anyone else who is like myself and are NOT sharing videos: If there is a video by ANYONE that bores you, please do NOT make a negative comment. Save your energy for positive comments please! We can always use the go back arrow -- and stay silent.

  • No one is forced to watch any video on youtube -- but it is very rude to give a negative comment especially when we "strictly viewers" are not making videos ourselves. I don't think we've earned the RIGHT to critique anyone. Let's "Mind Our Manners"! Peter can teach us all about manners. Peter is a mannerly gentleman! So few around now-a-days!

  • Not youre but you're.

  • you ungrateful little retard... get the hell outta here

  • the preceding comment is for invalidusername and all the morons who come to put negative comments on peter's videos or ANY videos. People who love to run thier mouths with absolutely nothing to back it up, usually have no creativity and are generally total losers and basicly sad, sad individuals who can produce nothing of value. Get a life and get the hell off the boards that we normal people enjoy.

  • What's more annoying is that most people just say things like that to get a rise out of others. The best advice I can give to those corrupted individuals is to kindly get off of youtube and to go stand in moving traffic.

Keep up the good work, peter!=)

  • Go stand in moving traffic!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Word dude!

  • UserNameInvalid92 =

= no videos & no favorites & no playlists & no groups & no subscriptions & - of course - no friends & no subscribers ...

... no wonder - a very boring person is terribly bored by himself

    ... poor slowpoke

... just jealous of people who enjoy life

... really poor person - I feel sorry for You

  • = Social Life

  • really?

then You are very good in hiding it!

  • Yes, OK, point taken. But please, just make silence. Anything more will encourage the UserNameInvalid's of the world. This space is for Peter, y'know?

    Peace

  • Beautful stories peter! :)

  • Great to here your stories Peter :))

  • Thanks again, Peter.

    Priceless stories.

  • Thank you Peter for telling us about your father. It's fascinating to hear of the older days & your father. I guess most of us can relate somewhat, although times of today are different. Excellent.

  • Hi there!!!! Have fun!

  • Hi geriatric! I hope the invasion goes well. It should be exciting!

  • Thank You for "Telling it All" again. That was another good story. Have fun with the invasion. mc

  • "Telling it All" is back. Good show!

    Thank you, Peter

  • Great vid peter. I am looking foward to hearing about the "American Invasion"

  • Thank you for sharing your memories. You're a dear!

  • Wow I am glad you have resurrected the "Telling It All" series. This entry is most fascinating, both as to how loving Father/son relationships have not changed over time, and as to how technology, protocol and lifestyle in general has changed during your life. Absolutely fascinating. I await your next video and the "American Invasion!"

  • I hope you video all your visits with everyone and hay maybe you could have a date with locco momma lol it would be a funny video your so serrious all the time break loose!! get silly !!

  • Wow, sounds like you and your father have had quite a few good and interesting experiences. It was very interesting listening to some of your story's you were kind enough to tell.

  • I love your stories. Have a great time with the American invasion.

  • Thanks for sharing another good story. My first gun was a 410. I got it for my 16th birthday. I wish I still had it.

  • Great video Peter. I remember the first time I fired a 12 gauge shotgun, and it sure kicked hard. I ended up buying my own 12 gauge when I was 16 and I still use it to hunt 20 years later. :) It's nice hearing your fond memories. It seems to bring back many of my own. Thanks for the stories, and jogging my own memory with them.

  • Your childhood was thoroughly enjoyable to listen to, and how lucky you were to have had such a great relationship with your Father.

  • Glad to see that you are busy and have many new ventures to keep you occupied. You have truly become a celeb. While I am very glad to see you enjoy your success,I do miss your little "fireside chats" as I call them..LOL. Take care my friend and enjoy your fame and success!

  • you rock

  • I don't hear any noises. In the past for some videos (not necessarily yours) I have had to adjust several areas of my sound. I think I have it at a good point now.

  • Peter, I'm not sure what my problem is because it's not the same as others. I just plain have a hard time hearing you at all on this vid - volume on everything is as high as it can be. I do have a slight hearing loss but with others' vids, I prefer that their volume is "too high" so I can lower volume to my liking.

  • Could you do that - make the volume higher (louder) so we hearing impaired folks can adjust the volume? I'm sure I missed half of what you were saying :-(( - while I was bending over my laptop trying to hear your every word. Thanks!

  • i have a 410 shotgun it'll knock you on your backside lol

  • lol a 410 shotgun yeah i think it will knock on your backside

  • Thank you for sharing your memories with us Peter. It brings back memories of our own I'm sure. This is such an amazing creation. It allows us to know people all around the world and I'm struck more by the number of similarities than by any differences. Life is just a bunch of experiences strung together over time. You have made my life experiences more pleasant. Thank you so much.

  • My grandfather delivered milk in Fort Dodge, Kansas, by a mule-drawn carriage. When My dad was born and granddad saw his big ears, he named my dad after the mule.

  • Oh priceless! And... what is your dad's name?? :)
