Apparently you do not know that our current federal income tax is only enough to pay for the interest of our national debt we owe to other nations. Therefore, logically, if we wisely take care of our national debt, then we don't need federal income tax and still able to run the country because we are doing just that now. As for the roads, lights, sanitation...etc we still have state tax to take care of that. Ron Paul is not getting rid of state tax (which is constitutional).

there might be a code that says things can not stick out more than x amount on a truck. The sign in the back that sticks out may be in violation of an existing code. That may be apart from the "sign" issue. Check on that okay? It may need to have a red flag on it (per haps an american flag would qualify). They can possibly get you with that. Your ticket would not be about signs, it would be about something sicking out more than x amount.
Leave the signs on the truck. Get fined, dont pay, go to court, and tell them the law that its your right to political speech! This could make national news. Stand your ground!

i called pinella's county to voice my discontent with removing private property signs from one's personal private property. I was told by the nice county rep on the phone that all/any signs must legally be placed 10 feet back within ones property.

I got a letter from the director of Environmental Management today. As soon as I saw this video I issued a complaint letting them know this was against our first Amendment rights of American. Can you post a link to the county ordinances she and the person in the other video about the signs on the fence were supposedly violating? You said in the other case that the language didn't apply, but I'd like to see it from the county's perspective (not that I would agree with it - unless they obstruct vision or might fly off, I don't see why cars at least can't be plastered with signs.)
They are the type of signs that can going flying off the vehicle and cause trouble to other drivers. They are lawn signs, meant for the lawn. Paint the words on the truck and see if the county bothers you then.

Did the county give any reason for the fine? Are there other individuals with similar signs supporting other candidates? I support Ron Paul, too, but I think it is important to present factual reporting, not inflammatory, or else we give the perception that his supporters are nut-cases. This story, as well as the one about fence signs in Florida seems as if it is not complete. Did they cite any ordinances or such that were being violated?

Turn the tables. Sit on the bumper and tell the photographer to make sure he gets you in the picture too. Ask him what he plans to do with the pictures. Take pictures of him and tell him they're for your blog (even if you don't have one) that gets half a million hits every day. Watch him disappear.

Go down to the DMV and get a copy of the law regarding signage,I can tell you they are completely bluffing,get a copy of the DMV signage law on vehicals carry it with you and a small video camera/cell phone video . if you get harrassed video it ,show them the law,& tell them to "go away please!"or you will sue them for harrasment,a copy of the bill of rights with you is also useful.

Stand up for your rights, but suggestion the sign on the back window is a violation of vehicle codes, it can't block your veiw. That would be the only thing that they can cit you for.

A city official could not cite you for a violation of that sort anyway, it's not under their authority.

I received a complaint because my bus. annoyed someone, I responded in writing, I then appealed to the administrative officer, denied,,I appealed to the city council,,I only received 1 vote in my favor...
I now have exhausted my administrative remedies. I filed a civil lawsuit in district court,, & I won!!! The judge ruled that I may continue the family bus. And any city official that interferes with my bus.

They seemed QUITE weary of receiving phone calls when I contacted them today and immediately turned me over to an answering machine when they found out what I was calling about.
They didn't even want to take responsibility for the code or anything having to do with it in the early part of the conversation and tried to get me to call zoning. Just mindless soldiers or something following orders when they get a complaint...

there might be a code that says things can not stick out more than x amount on a truck. The sign in the back that sticks out may be in violation of an existing code. That may be apart from the "sign" issue. Check on that okay? It may need to have a red flag on it (per haps an american flag would qualify). They can possibly get you with that. Your ticket would not be about signs, it would be about something sicking out more than x amount.

i called pinella's county to voice my discontent with removing private property signs from one's personal private property. I was told by the nice county rep on the phone that all/any signs must legally be placed 10 feet back within ones property.

I got a letter from the director of Environmental Management today. As soon as I saw this video I issued a complaint letting them know this was against our first Amendment rights of American. Can you post a link to the county ordinances she and the person in the other video about the signs on the fence were supposedly violating? You said in the other case that the language didn't apply, but I'd like to see it from the county's perspective (not that I would agree with it - unless they obstruct vision or might fly off, I don't see why cars at least can't be plastered with signs.)

They are the type of signs that can going flying off the vehicle and cause trouble to other drivers. They are lawn signs, meant for the lawn. Paint the words on the truck and see if the county bothers you then.

2. Have someone else put up Mitt Romney or whoever signs similiarly and document them not getting harrassed.
3. During city elections, complain about signs in yards and document if they are not removed.

If individuals acting under pretended authority of the 'County' then simply ask if you have the right to face your accuser. If a 'prosecuting' attorney says he 'represents' so and so - ask if he has evidence to back up the claim. There is no damaged party, other than her of course = as she's the one getting threatened for exercising her right.

Does one need special permission to ask questions these days? Ron Paul is about restoring our rights - as well as our Liberty and Freedom. It's up to us to learn to ask the right questions to figure out how to make it happen on a personal level.

Asking questions is still legal, (for a limited time I suspect) However; For the time being, ADVISING someone of what to ask may require a "special" license, in some cases. Allthough my father is a Judge who constantly urged me to stay in law, I currently hold several "special license" which allows me to represent others in legal matters, none of which allows for my giving legal advise. Hope this helps you. Loosen up a little...and keep reading!
