Honestly. those ExpertVillage people are like "And then you're going to tune it a half step down which is shown here and my fingers are calloused and my strings are this kind and I don't know when to shut up" and then you have this video, which just gives you the notes. so if i was doing this with a tuner i would tune first 2 standered then add 2 flats for a whole step down? so its like drop c except for the top string?

basically DGCFAD is the same as EADGBE( which is standard tuning) after the guitar is tuned down a whole step ,hope this helped.

I go with TeamFortressNoobspy's method usually, but this was a big help since I didn't really trust whether I was preoperly in Standard E tuning in the first place!
