Hey...when was Peggy Fleming ever on a drunken toot speaking in public? On record? I find it hard to believe that :Only Peggy Fleming on a drunken toot ever had anything nice to say about Irina Slutskya "artistically." neutrogenaaveeno Irina is a superb skater with many many European titles and a beautiful genuine smile...she skates with power and courage and has a serious illness impacting her legs and never complains or makes excuses....just gets out there and skates like a true athlete:)

Let's be brutally honest. If we're going to talk about inflated and undeserving scores it's not Michelle Kwan that we should be talking about. Any event in which Irina Slutskya earned above a 5.4 for Presentation was fixed and we all know it.

@neutrogenaaveeno Oh there is more to artistry than simple wiggle, jiggle, and pepto facial expressions. Irina's style was powerful and lively and she deserved every single one of her marks. She herself is classy, real and has so many record accomplishments under all the overrated hoopla over Kwan's gifted 6s and handed titles.

Only Peggy Fleming on a drunken toot ever had anything nice to say about Irina Slutskya "artistically." "Powerful" and "lively" do not equal artistic; not to mention that a "classy" athlete wouldn't throw an Olympic Bronze medal into the trashcan because she was disappointed in her third place finish in 2006.

This is still awesome even with the mistake. An amazing program that I never get tired of watching. So what about the combination? No one can perform like this.

@getrealandsee ITA! This was a complete mess and the judges are finally giving her more realistic looking deductions. She skated like crap on an easy program she's done SO many times. Omg you are so right, who would ever want to skate like this?
