i pick up red ants with my bare hands and get bit (her in Newfoundland its very painful loll) my hands dont even swell and also when i whent to nova scotia i got stung by a jelly fish are those animals venomous at all? and if so are the chances low that im not allergic to T stings i already got T and i wont get rid of it if i was im just wondering tho...
No. you could not even have a reaction to it. What I tell people who buy from me is that if you are allergic to one type of Venom, then chances are your body may be allergic to other venoms as well. Even if you are allergic, the reaction will not be very fast acting and you can make it to a hospital. EPI Pens help too.
very stupid advice mate... if you are allergic to bee stings you probably have the same outcome from this type of tarantula bite as one from a bee. i would suggest NOT holding a tarantula AT ALL especially in your case.. since you are allergic to bee stings... i have to say though there is no recorded death from a tarantula bite ever in the history of man... so chances are it's not going to be fatal... but you can always be the first...:P anyways i know someone who almost died from a bee sting.
@gr4ndhustle Like I said, I recommend extreme caution when dealing with allergic reactions. Possible reactions, not Absolute. In fact, with most arthropods, serious allergic reactions can develop over years of repeated stings from scorpions or bites from tarantulas. Not always will you react instantly. If you have previous allergies like I do, chances are that your body has less immunity from other venoms, so you are at higher risk of reacting. Safe than sorry usually is best, yes.
@lockster96 This may too late and you may have already gotten your spider but yes this may effect you. A tarantula is as venomus as a bee sting this may resualt is hospitalization. You should deffanetly read up on it.
i have the copper coloured chilean rose, she seems to be unsettled as she isn't using her hide, she doesn't seem too interested in feeding either .. i mean she followed the cricket for a while and tried to catch it 3 times but missed now she isn't bothering at all. :(
yeah if shes pacing round alot and not using her hide it may be because shes unsettled and not used to the tank, try changing the layout of it and give her a nudge into her retreat.
me to i dont know how you can live without one of theese i also have ,salmon pink golith bird eater, mexican redknee, king babbon, skeliton and an ornomental and im getting a cobolt blue in about two monthes
