Uh, that's hard so say. I never measured it, so I might give a guess at best. I would assume it is something between 15 and 20 mph. You might sink it this is quite slow but it fits to the model size. Faster would look unnatural and would even be dangerous to brake the hull.
It was a model from the german company Graupner (named JetStar). Unfortunatelly they don't produce and sell it anymore. From time to time you might find such a model on Internet auction platforms such as EBAY.
Normally I use two 7 cell (8.4 V)power packs, connected in a parallel way. The packs do have each 3300 mAh. This lasts normaly for approx. 15 minutes when going full speed most of the time. The power consumption by the LEDs does not really need to be considered. It is just to less to notice!
The intro was made with Bluff Titler whereas the 'normal' base version was enhanced with additional templates. Just search the internet and you might find the regarding details. Hopefully this was from any help to you. Thanks for looking our videos.
