best offroading game ever and you can get it for free! 100,s of vehicles and 100's of maps available for it and they are so simple to install. The physics in this game are hardly accurate but it is incredibly fun. Vehicles can be twisted out of shape and the suspension is a laugh. There are loads of game modes too like jamboree, capture the flag and free roaming..... I have one problem with it tho, i cant get past the launcher for some reason n need a little help (im running WinXP)

Insane is still my favorite free-roam off roader., but I just beat Motorm4x and it currently outbeats any game in the crawling/trial catagory by far. Unfortunately despite that and its nice graphics...it's very limited compared to 1nsane. I wish Invictus would make a sequal soooooo badly...

It's called 1nsane and it's probably still the best offroad racing game. It's only on computer.

1nsane has been surpassed in all aspects by the UAZ sims and the up coming MotorM4X sim. People say UAZ sucks, but a lot of people base that off of the unpatched original. UAZ 2 + Hummer Extreme Edition with the added patches is phenomenal; even if it is only available in Russian language. So far I haven't come across anything that's as good as UAZ2+HEE. The amount of trucks and maps is massive, the physics rock, and the graphics are gorgeous. Until MotorM4X hits, UAZ2+HEE+Updates is king.

Just discovered this game, wow! Downloaded Viper and all the buggies on InsaneHeat (the new one; insaneheat(dot)com/newIHDB/), including the Steyr Climber seen here. Haven't gotten to trail #82 yet, or learned to drive from driver's perspective :) Great skills!
