Virtual DJ Mac Video Issue

Could it be a codec issue? Does VDJ use it's own, proprietary codecs, or is it trying to use the system's? Is it only with VOB files?

Try Making your Key frames higher around 20-40 This setting will set the distance between keyframes for the video.

What file type is the promo only video?

The issue is not the macbook nor VDJ, but its in the deinterlacing when you convert the file. You need to have that set for Slow. and the video should come out fine.

By the way... as for serato

I have used Serato

& I couldn't believe the tech support said that they highly recomend to only use 1 hard drive. For t5his and many other reasons

I like Virtual DJ much better.. just look at all the extras - skins - FX video FX and much more. Peace..

it just demands a more powerful computer..

I am looking into 2 different computers and one is the same mac pro that you have posted here. interesting when you posted this and if you found or anyone has found a solution. the other is the Asus model G50v-x1. I would like to make the change to Mac only if Virtual DJ works ok. my friend has the mac book pro with the 17 inch screen with the 512 to the video card other than the 256 and he has no ploblems mixing videos in the club. Was there a fix or solution for this mac?

I have been using Virtual Vinyl for about a year and a half, and ive played all over the world and have had very few problems... 1 thing i will recommend is not using the Mac version for video...

I have a 17" Macbook Pro w/ 2 gigs of ram, and i run Windows XP using Bootcamp. The only draw back is, that i use an external video card because the chipset on my Mbook pro doesn't support the DVI adapter... In the windows environment...

YOU need to get rid of virtual DJ/numark cue i had virtual dj/numark cue (numark bought out virtual Dj software) and it really isent good im a club Dj and i also do alot of weddings during the year and the sound quality and video quality out of VDJ just blows . however i did buy rane's serato scratch live MUCH MUCH BETTER quality and sound dude..you have to just go out and get serato return Vdj trust me you will be much happier

Mike fury doesn't know what he is talking about Virtual DJ isn't the cheap way to go first off. Virtual DJ is amazing, and Video on Virtual DJ in wonderful. I have a Macbook Pro and Ill hit you up privately and tell you how to fix it.

I have the 17in version with the 4GB RAM upgrade... I think part of the problem is that you're not using great software.. Serato is coming out with a video application just before Christmas...when it comes to video djing..you can't go cheap... id just recommend waiting till serato releases their video application or upgrading your RAM if you have the 2GB standard.. good luck

Try check the site from virtual dj. Maybe they launched some new drivers? Or check nvidea for new drivers for the 8600M. good luck
