The reason we can outsource and continue to buy more than we produce(50B/month trade deficit) is Reserve Currency status of dollar. It is easier to create fiat currency than to fully produce what we buy. The game will last as long as we have willing takers, which may not be too many more years. Then, our standard of living will plunge dramatically. But, we will have more employment (if we still have capital) as we will have to produce more of our own stuff like shoes and clothing.

To take down the banks you must do a few things in addition to what you are doing:
1. HOLD SILVER and Gold...Buy Buy buy, recover from every junked out appliance, every nook and cranny, every coins shop in America.
2. Buy Food and such----grow your farms, have chicken coops
3. Vote Ron PAUL. We must have the right people in Congress
4. SPREAD the MESSAGE of Ron, silver and food.

Small businesses would organize production much less efficiently. @leftgibson It is illegal in the USA to live off the land. without at least a 900 sq ft home and a working potable sewage system, with out it, you will be kicked off your land. It is also illegal to just own horses without owning a certain amount of acres and you are not allowed to ride them down the freeway either. So you cannot call us hippies hypocrites.. Many of us do our own gardening to supply ourselves with our own food and many of us utilize solar power.
