  • The book says that they wanted to let people know that Jim Baker was an archery expert and had taught the "suns" how to protect and take care of themselves. Bill collectors beware! They even had human shaped targets on their hay bales to warn adversaries of their deadly intent if messed with. These we not hippies!

  • well..after all the album is called "savage sons of Yahowa 13" so that is the natural explanation and im sure the easist one to understand.....its interesting that the original guitarist of the Seeds was a guy called jan savage so there may be another connection there as well as im sure sky saxon must have been involved on some level with this album although apparantly he didnt play on it or many of the yahowa 13 ..70s albums except a couple i think

  • Most interesting album cover...my understanding of the Source commune and Father Yod is that they were vegetarians..so the bow and arrow symbolism must be on a deeper level...are they hunting for new members? hunting for the divine self? hunting for women? but without a doubt Father Yod and ensemble know how to rock!!!

  • @aidencassidy77 guess they basically wanted to look really savage, y'know

  • @aidencassidy77 oh and anyway thanks for the comment man
