What is it with Bosendorfer building all these ridiculouisly "showy" pianos??? bosendorfers are impeccably well made pianos....but the 'goods' is in their soundbox...not fru-fru, ostentaciousness.

@jebsievers It is an ugly piano, and a monument to decadence. Bösendorfer also has one encrusted with crystal. They are both ugly and wasteful. The piano is about music, sound, artistic interpretation, not opulence. It's akin to people who buy pianos to decorate their houses with when they don't even know how to play.
