What's the point of having options within the keyboard? Just how often do you really need to access the options again once you have already set everything up in the beginning.

Could use that area for another key that is commonly used, like a punctuation key.

@InsaneDC5 I have an Evo 4G with Swype pre installed, i used to use swype,but realized how tedious it is to enter letters and numbers/numbers on swype. On Swift Key X you can type very very fast accurately with the auto correct option. Included with this are 2 different types to enter in text, one in which is for speed typers like me who rely on spell check, or for the precise typers who like having the word prediction.

@rabbb78 It's a built-in Android warning. This is not keyboard dependant and Android will display it for any keyboard you install. It's just a warning that keyboards do have the power of collecting stuff.

I see. The keyboard is great. I love the way i can be as sloppy as i want and nine times out of ten it will know what i'm trying to type. I have, however, come across an annoying bug that seems to be present on web pages. When trying to type in a text box on a web page, the text begins to flash and what i've typed gets replaced with random characters. Also sometimes, touching a text box doesn't bring up the keyboard. It takes me a while to get it to come up.

I have GS2 and I can say that this keyboard is much better than the stock Samsung keyboard and Swype.

Don't like it.  Can use Swype without looking at keyboard. Can use Vlingo or Speaktoit Assistant without looking at phone. SwiftKey X reminds me I hate typing on phones.

This app works so much better for me than the stock keyboard. I have a Samsung Vibrant smartphone. It really helps me when I'm posting replies to forums from my phone. I've used the option to customize it a bit to make it work better for me. It's also learned the words I use the most to help me complete sentences faster. I helps me to type faster on my phone.
