  • 2 ppl never had it all. wht a shame.

  • Nice ,but for me Tina Turner's 1974 country version is the best.

  • Can you email me this photo please?

  • This is great , but Waylon`s version from his 1973 album Honky Tonk Heroes is still the ultimate interpretation of this beautiful Donnie Fritts / Troy Seals ballad .

  • I want Keith to come to Nashville and do country ablum. Twangy.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • post '74 or thereabouts, I'll take Keith's solos stuff and his solo material on Stone's record any day over Jagger/Stones compositions. I think The Worst is one of his best songs of the last 30 yrs. Seems that when he writes for Jagger these days his heart isn't in it as much. Also, I'm tired of listening to Jagger's stale and tired croaks on recent albums.

  • can some please tell which album this is on? Thanks

  • @anitafromoz1 is an outtake from emotional rescue...you will find in some bootlegs

  • "We had it all" is a cover of someone ? It's a rolling stones song ?

  • GRANDE KEITH

  • StringerNova Listen to Waylon Jennings Live to hear the best version ever done

  • Then I'll stay with you girl as long as I can

Oh it was so good oh it was so good oh it was so good when I was your man

  • Great song. And what a beautiful photo of Keith Richards.

Where is it coming from? Is it available? Can I buy it somewhere. I want it on the wall!!!

    Thanks

    Sachavalentino

  • Nice, but Ray Charles' version's better :)

  • Butterfly Angels

  • So Magnificent...Keith, Bless his Heart! for sure! Thanks for video!

  • @StingerNova I think this is a Donny Fritts Song. Donny lost his face to a rarre cancer and it is a story worth watching. Search it on Google.

  • And they said he couldn't sing...

  • Dear God this is an amazing song!!! Where'd you find it?

  • Anyone know where i can get this pic of keith online ?

  • Fucken love this .. <3

  • Keith is a man of heart.

  • Keith, like no other British rocker (or American, for that matter), has a true feel for how a great country song should be presented. This is a great version of the song.

  • a lot of great Stones are not released. The un-released Stones catalogue is way better than other "Stars" released catalogues.

  • Great song and a great Keef

  • Keith is such a gracious generous soul! He really is a beautiful guy! It's reflected in this sweet soulful song. Thanks for posting it.

  • @godlike51 can you please send me that picture of keith

  • Nice unreleased material, Keith sould've worked this into the stones lineup....

  • This man is art...there'll never be another Keith. This is the most soulful version of this much-recorded song I have ever heard. It is a treasure to be cherished.

  • I love these Keith recordings from the seventies.

It amazes me that a person who excells at the Blues, and Rock, and Rock and Roll, can also deliver so beautifully with Country.

    Keith is truly a Master.

    And he has SOUL!

  • great!

  • Thanks for the great post! Keith's take on country music has an interesting feeling. From what I gather, Gram Parsons played a major role in Keith's desire to capture an authentic country flavor with certain Stones songs too. The guitar work on "Honky Tonk Women" was probably the first Stones song that really reflected that influence. Keith's love of country later lead him to do a duet with George Jones; "Burn Your Playhouse Down" which is also somewhere on Youtube.

  • how sweet! I loved your video, the pic is perfect for this tune, pure and beautiful. that's Keith at his best! Wish i could give him a big hug :)
