I used to live in Trellick with a friend a few years ago, and tower block living is fantastic. Now live in a regular tower block and we sometimes have the same problem from the minority of asshole tenants leaving rubbish in the chute room.... i mean, how lazy!
The collections are *supposed* to happen at 9.30 am, 11.30 am, 1.30 pm and 3 pm. These photos were in fact taken at 10.30 am, and included rubbish from the night before. My point is that bins would make the place look as smart on the inside as outside, leaving aside the issue of the general unpleasantness of it all.
just like the rest of london, a shithole.

@jaredini it still continues, minoroties dont undestand that when the chute is blocked, you have to go downstairs to LG >:l....

It must be possible to do better than this.
Rubbish bins would help. They could have stickers on the side showing Trellick Tower use in the Olympic video.
And what about collections at some different times (eg early evening)?
