ok you no how car companys have build your own car on there website they should have the same thing for airsoft guns you build it and add on whatever parts you want and it will show a picture off what it will look like with all those parts a price off the gun and a estimated fps and then you can order it and they will make your gun there with those upgrades and then ship it to you and you also get money off from the stock parts they didnt use on the gun because they replaced them.

I would really like to know what the muzzle velocity deviation is on these. (average fps +/- xfps, for example, my m16 shoots 399 fps +/- 1 fps with a .28g bb, giving it extremely precise groupings, the FPS deviation is due to BB inconsistencys)

70 feet isnt an accuracy test. i have them all beat cuz my aug can hit a no parking sign at 300 feet within 10 shots depending on the wind and humidity. i only spent about $400 including the gun and accessories

did the guns have to be aegs? if rof didn't matter and all they wanted was accuracy, why didnt either try to base something off a marui vsr10 or jg bar10?

because they suck and aegs are so much better. in the time it takes you to get off 10 shots and reload with one of those snipers i can have 20 kills with an aeg

Depends on which sniper RIFLE. They are using. Is it stock? Or is it upgraded and maxed out. Because I can garuntee you no AEG will ever beat a properly upgraded and tuned sniper rifle in the accuracy and range department. End of story.

sorry but no, not end of story. ive seen maxed out Maruzens and CA M24's and I could build an aeg to out perform all of them. Aegs can be built to outperform them and then there is always the fact, as mentioned before that while you are reloding your 10rd mag (which took you 5sec per shot to get off) i will have raped you, the rest of your team...and your mom.

consider it from an engineer's perspective. using occam's razor, the system used to power any spring gun is far less complex and thus preferable. it's only downside (low rof) is rendered completly irrelevant by this scenario, making the spring system even more preferable.

no offense taken, and certainly none meant. and though you might be able to build such admr aeg at a higher budget, but speaking from personal experience, i seriously doubt anyone could do it for under $500.

touche. it would be difficult to do it for under $500...then again making a good sniper for under $500. i would prefer an aeg perosnally because you can get the same accuracy (i have an aeg that barely falls short of my friends decked out CA M24) and range equal to any upgraded sniper rifles'. the power can also be matched as well and with an aeg. the ROF is the factor that would overcome the sniper.

however in this scenario, you are correct in that a bolt action would probably be preferable

in the end, i think these things all come down to personal preference. spring guns fit what i need best, so i use them. same for you and your aeg. and ive got a friend who swears by his western arms gbb m4... we might not always agree whats best, but we all have the freedom to use whatever we want.

It's not the BEST sniper, but it's pretty decent for how much you spend, take a look at the UTG L96 (UTG MK96) It's about 200 dollars, I have a 4x40 Scope on it and it shoots at about 450-475 with .20's.

Not a good rifle. The TM VSR or JGBAR10 is much better, with more aftermarket support. And like I said to unhappy88, a sniper is a person.

That sounds nice but I want something more sniperish like a bolt action rifle or maybe a M14 but I'm not really sure of any good long range guns by long range I mean about 200feet+ accurately.

well an sr25 is a sniper, and if you get the sr25 k you have a crane stock, just buy a silencer and longer precision barrel and upgrade the hop-up, its easy im doing it.

the sr-25 is plenty sniper anyway.
