  • Wow, it´s very nice to have such person like you explaining these details to an ignorant like me in the plane things! But I am a very fan of planes anyway, and sometimes I spend a little of time watching videos like this one and remembering good moments of my life! Thank you very much! Are you pilot, by the way? :))

  • @suliquinhas I wish I could have solved your doubt. Yes I'm a pilot. If you want me to explain you anything other day send me a message

  • @samtob747 Oh no, don´t say this because I will spend all night long making you questions hahahahaha! But, please, just one more: if you can, of course, if not, you can reply me in private, please. Thank you. What kind of planes you "drive" (if that is the correct word), and have you drove a 380? Or a 340 (the one that I used to travel in the past snif snif).

  • smooth run,,woowwwwwwwwwwww

  • 5 min. of sky movie

  • @mrDemonioify thank you

  • can u pls tell me the seat number during that flight..

  • Very nice video! How long was the flight full- term? very long or normal

  • If it's really this loud a 777-300ER can be quieter!

  • im going to sit at row 49, jus wantd to knw is tat good? seat to watch the engines?

  • @mrzainblack great row. This film was taken from row 50, last row in the forward economy section. Enjoy your flight.

  • @ediandpen why is there so much smog in dubai? you can barely see anything!

  • Is that the QM2 at 4:15?

  • I love the noisy hydraulic pump in the A-380 on flap retraction at 4:25 XD

Thanks for this great video ;)

  • It seems they use full power when they are in the air, but it occurs when CLB is selected on the thrust lever (because in this flight CLB thrust is greater than FLX thrust) and when the engines spool down is because they stop climbing around FL100 (you can hear the seatbelts sign sound) when they continue climbing engines spool up again to give CLB thrust

  • @samtob747 nice, thanks for the info. :D

  • @paduajoseph You're welcome ;)

  • @samtob747 could you please explain to me when is necessary full power and when it is not necessary? Thanks a lot!

  • @suliquinhas of course :) Reduced thrust is used when there is a difference between the actual take-off weight and maximum take-off weight, it's used generally in all take-off's to increase engines life (whenever it's possible, of course). Reduced thrust can't be used when we're taking off with max weight, runway is contaminated with water or snow, or if we are limited by obstacle clearance; in these cases we have to apply max take-off thrust

  • @samtob747 Wow! So is that when we are taking-off and we realize the plane "goes back", I mean, just in the moment of the take off, suddenly I feel like the plane "looses" power and the planed really do reduces the speed? Thank you so much for the explanation!

  • @suliquinhas when you feel the plane "looses power" is because thrust is reduced to climb power, the nose of the aircraft is lowered to maintain speed or increase it to retract flaps ;)

  • yeah I see that . It wasn't a full power take-off

  • and it sounds like the pilot kept on adjusting the throttle during climb

  • Its quiet inside the cabin.. too quiet.. too quiet.. zzzzzz

  • Dubai la città + stronza del mondo

  • Nice!

  • @clintontbell thanks

  • Incredibly quiet !!! Beautiful vid, thanx for posting ! Was here last year !

  • Incredibly quiet !!!

  • Love how the Whale just banks over to turn, easy as you like, as though it thinks it's a 320!

  • Such a quiet aircraft .. !

  • Great video, thanks for posting. That aircraft is so quiet...........amazing.

  • maybe because he is using reduced thrust take-off....some as a noise augmentation

  • great vid , i'm on the emirates inagural A380 MAN -DXB Flt 1 /9/10 cant wait

  • @giib if you are in economy try and get a decent seat. ie up to row 50 and you will get the same view as I got. This video was shot from 50A. this is the only decent ac in Emirates fleet (seat pitch wise).

  • thanks for all your comments, it was a very nice plane indeed. it would be interesting to compair these Engine Alliance engines with the RR powered A380 of Singapore, but I cannot afford a first class ticket for the same view :-)

  • great video, gotta love the A380

  • hmm did the plane go to slow at 6:00 because the pilot used full thrust..

  • i haven't seen one either but great vid. Sounds like it was a flex t/o. great videography

  • It's so quiet on takeoff....hmm...not sure I like that anymore lol.

  • @Agui007 hahahahahahaha But I am finding this engines too noise anyway! Not while taking off, but once it turned left and again and again, I hear too much noise? Is for the video or is it from the engines? Tks!

  • great and smooth takeoff..

  • Excellent video! Good job in holding the camera steady. I'm amazed how quiet the A380 engines are.

  • thank you for your kind comments. The A380 is a great aircraft.

  • Great sound on takeoff.

  • thank you very much for this great video :-)

  • Great video, loved to watch it
