yes very good. no damaged meat. even the processors told me the same. this deer would not turn broadside. even with the wind i would've risked a gut shot. i was'nt going for trophy, i was going for meat. good luck on your hunt!!

@jmlvr123 im a fan of a 30-06 personally, it has moderate range and moderate stopping power. also a silver tip bullet which the tip explodes on solid impact of bone or etc... (you can buy winchester ammo made for bigger and tougher animals, just something to look into
