  • This is perfect WEIGHTED dips form. You're not supposed to go lower than that on WEIGHTED dips, it leads to shoulder injuries. Props to you for the great physique as well as the strength. I'm only dipping 35kg for 3,2,2 reps :/

  • It's not cut together, just glitchy (watch the people in the back) Very good ROM and with reps of 10 it's obviously not to much weight. As long as it's smooth it doesn't matter how fast it is, different speeds work different muscle fibers.

  • the whole point of this exercise is to build your triceps (ye chest too but he's not leaning forward for that) and he has monster triceps - the result of him using the best form for -his- body to grow.

    why would he use different form? everyone's elbow and wrist joints make it impossible for any two people to do identical dips.

    btw 'perfect' doesn't mean you don't bob at all - there's a huge difference between using natural movements and people swinging about like a horizontal yoyo.

  • @Eitzo what i read a close grip is tricep and a narow grip is more chest.

    But regadless of how you do it it will work the tricep and chest a lot if the weight is high ;)

If it is fake he had to coordinate it with them. Which would be a good way to make it seem more credible it is fake. However it seems like he could do that many his tri's are jacked

    The video was not edited. Take a look at the 2 people on his background, their actions are still continuous.There were just half second lapses on his recording that's why it looked edited.

  • That's hard to do, but you're not doing them "PERFECT". You should use less weight and better form. More weight=ego, that's all; however, if you do it with good form and heavy weights, then props to you.

  • His torso should be "locked" the only part of his body that should move are his arms (he is extending his torso during the movement). Very strong..but not "perfect form".

  • @laxinthe303 If you have ever done "heavy" weights with the dip-belt with chain you would understand that keeping your spine straight as a pole would be impossible. As you can see and I have tried this as well, the heavier you go on these dips with that belt he uses the more likely you will bend forward. This is perfect form for the most part. Try doing dips with the a dip belt like this with weights, the weight on that belt shifts your angle and theres nothing u can do about it.

  • @nickmanzoni Well. This is good form compared to most other 'gym workouts'.

    I think the people complaining about form compares this to competition dips. Where the shoulder should be lower than your elbow. Meaning that instead of the regular 90% bend on your arm, it should be around 70%.

He was going a little fast, which is another aspect to which he may have commented. Really though, not too many people i see actually do it this well, especially on youtube.

    If you mean the gripping width and leaning forward, that is a DIFFERENT way to do the lift, focusing more on chest rather than triceps.

    Most people obsessing with form tend to forget that the thing that makes you grow is actually lifting fucking heavy... a little "cheating" and momentum to get into the groove etc. is all good as long as you don't hurt yourself.
