  • cough* cough*cough* cough*cough* cough*cough* cough*cough* cough*cough* cough*cough* lol

  • I am pretty sure I could do this as well as him...if I were putting a 20" tire on a 19" rim! haha!

  • 3;25 to 3;47 thats what she said

  • pro's.allways something to learn from them.thank you

  • if i saw this yesterday i dind bend my rim! 12inch rims <3

  • he forgot to do it three times. The first two are to pinch the tubes, and the third is to finally get it right. Also, he forgot the lengthy strings of swearing and hucking the tire irons as far as you can

  • lets see him try it on a rim with 2 rim locks... Its a pain in the ass!

  • yep my one goes right in there, but only with a fully inflated tube :L

  • If you think changing tires is hard??? I can't wait till this guy gets hit by a car. Ugh incredibly frustrating.

  • thanks so much!

  • yes got it on, thanks bro.

  • i want this guy as my tire changer!!!

  • He said Lube...

  • Comment removed

  • Coolest technique in this video is getting te valve stem through. I always struggled with that. I did what he said and it popped right through. Nice! On to vid #3. Thanks!

  • Holy crap man... Just changed my tires. What a nightmare. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful, but would you mind doing that in a living room floor with inexpensive tire irons for your next video...? LOL...

  • holy shit took me like 3 hours str8 to do this

    i ride a klx125

  • "You can never put too much lube on." Wise words....

  • Damn.,.,. I wish I had a bead buddy. Mine was no where near that easy.

  • there is no such thing as a $400 tire. Even the best tires only cost $100, shit I just bought a Pirelli Scorpion for $70, like the man said, if you are struggling, check your technique!!!

  • you can never put too much lube on...

  • my tire is really hard, its allmost impossible mounting it..

  • yeah it is easy. when you buy a 400$ tire like this guy is using

  • veryyyyy helpful thanks a ton about to go ride!!

  • cool

  • I can now change my tires a lot easier but, you notice the width of his tyre, you can easily get your hand in. Try doing that on a 3 x 18 one, talk about pinched fingers. The knack about inserting the valve, DOES WORK.

  • is it normal for my tires to crack between the side nobs tire is almost new

  • @davison1021 If your knobs are cracking, change your tire compound to softer, and stop punching it on the road if you are doing that, thats not realy normal but it has happened to me, specially on an lod dry, hard compound tire

  • I'm glad I now know how to properly change a tire. Last time it took about an hour just to get the tire on, let alone the tube in, and the tube was completley flat also. Then when it was finally finished, the tube had a hole in it : D

  • What exactly is a "bead"?

  • just followed this awesome vid, got all the way to the end and must of nicked me bastard tube levering last side over :( disheartening but will smash it tomorrow.

  • yea my tire is super hard

  • its all technique...and so he didnt cast some black magic beforehand? lol

  • "It's all technique". on ya dougie, good stuff mate. My tyre changing technique is terrible. but practice is the key

  • "you can never put to much lube on" lmafo

  • What kind of bastard would "dislike" this video?

  • i want to see this guy try working on something old i bet it wouldnt go so smooth

  • good vid but i just put a set of kenda millvilles on today and they are stiff as hell, they never went anywhere near as easy as they did in the video, took 4 hands to muscle em in...and thats going step by step

  • @slayerwawa ohh i had a kenda tire once...... fucking most stuborn tire ever! i took it to the stealership and it took 3 grown men to muscle it in 30min job..... ouch my wallet

  • Very good video, very helpful.

  • He's a pro.

  • This guy could change a tire in his sleep. Great technique.

  • Very helpful, but i still put a hole in the tube.

  • great vid man, however i dunno how you do this with 2 hands but it took me 1h lol

your a chief man thanks for the help I'd never be able without this vid

  • thanks that was very helpfull!

  • id just use baby powder you dont have to wait..

  • sweeeeeeeet

  • Bro ur going waaay to fast . i know you probly do this a gazillion times a day , but some off us are doing this for the first time . i am now really irritated from tring to get the tire onto the rim for an hour . plus my rim is now pretty scratched up !! you may have the "trick" down but ive watched the vid several times and dont seem to be able to figure it out ..

  • Try a Desert Tire with Stiff sidewalls along with two rim locks. I haven't had a rear with one rim lock in 30 years.

  • That tire looks like a rubber band compared to the 12" I'm trying to install on a pitbike. His tire is floppy and about 10% bigger compared to the rim in relative terms.

  • omg that bead buddy would help sooooooo much

  • helped allot, you make it look easy, for me its hard.

  • i wish i saw this video sooner.. the last time i changed a tire it took me 4 hours and the tube got 3 holes in it. yeah.

  • i hateee how he fucking clears his throat every 2 seconds far out

  • great instruction i used it to change my hard tires to my soft tires with ice screws, thanks for posting this vid its great

  • Wow.... I used this video to repair a flat on my DRZ400S last night...... priceless help! Thanks!!

  • 0r, if I'm strurggling I'm using a much more solid wall 120+(4") enduro or road/trail tyre. That tyre looks like putty compared to the one I've just put on.

  • yeah no doubt i just put a new tire and tube on my 250 with 2 rim locks and it sucked !!

  • Show me an 18 inch rim with two rim locks. Much harder.

  • very helpful

  • Very annoying, please clear throat in future videos. BTW, will that lube work for my hemoroids...

  • well that looks a lot easier than what i was doing. now i just need to wait for my tire and tube to come in through motosport. =D

  • After destroying two tubes and watching the crap videos on this site I finally came across this one with Doug Schopinsky. Man this guy is right on the money. I did my final attempt last night and the new tube install was a piece of cake. The little tricks he shows in the video are what made it next to effortless.

If you follow this guys instructions to the "T" you'll have no problem.

Great video and now I have no worries if I ever have to change out a tube or tire.

  • Stuffing the tube back in the tire has been probably the most frustrating thing I have ever done in my life, my tires were very narrow on the insides... ugh....

  • thank you soooo much for posting this video!!!! it helped so much in installing my rear drz 400 tire. one thing you could have mensioned is that when making the bead of the tire seal against the rim its important to have lube on the bead that way it easily slides and seals in place.

  • haha 3:40 flip it over and lube it on the bottom side

  • and when your done doing that (looks way to easy) put a lot of air in it so the tire will stretch on the right way! tighten up the rimrock and put the right amount of air in it

    yer good to go :)

  • Hmm very useful advice I took close to 3 hours to change a tyre yesterday , due to poor technique ie no lube on the tyre to help it slide on and putting in a completely flat inner tube rather than half inflating . I feel such a nonce , excellent advice!

  • what kind of irons were you using

  • lube the bottom side lololol

  • that was possibly the best instructional video i have seen on youtube . thanks for uploadin that.

  • hahaha at 3:35

"you can never put too much lube on."

  • hahaha you forgot " to flip it over and re lube the bottom side" bahahaa nice catch

  • great video but it's still a pain in the ass to mount a 120/80-12 street tire on a pit bike rim, that rubber is STIFF and you gotta pull the bead in so far to get it on the 1.6" rim.

  • they should make a video on how to mount a trials tire. I cant mount that sucker worth a crap.

  • Bloody great video!

  • ahhhahhhhahahhahadhdfsahdshfdshhfdsd;ahf

    fas

this video sucks. i used tto work at discount tires. an NOPE. i had no help here. it took me 3 hrs.

  • Thanks for the video mrblahh! You helped me change the tire on my supermoto bike! I would not have installed the tube properly without your help!

  • a bike shop!!!!!

  • where you get the tire irons????

  • a bike shop u idiot

  • wow..thanxx man n do u work for honda??? ples reply...

  • I use to be able to do tires with no problem, but now I have a rear wheel with 2 rim locks, the advise still worked

  • great vid thanks man!!....while were on the topic of tires what does everyone recoment for a hard compond tire for a rear tire 110/90-19 thanks everyone in advance!!

  • thnks a lot this is a great vid

  • After watching this video, I had no problems putting a tire and tube on my rim. Thanks.

  • you can use large screwdrivers, but you run the risk of pinch flats, by far the worst thing about changing a tire is pinching the tube when you install it, tire irons have smooth rounded edges

I would check rockymountainatv they have tire irons very cheap

  • What if you can't offord Tire Irons.Any other things that work?

  • umm if you cant afford a tire iron then how the hell can you afford having a bike?

tire irons are very cheap like 3 bucks over here LOL

  • I know it was stupid.I never paid attention to the price until about well 1month ago lol.Sorry about that stupid question.Ya there about 5 bucks here

  • thanks

  • "if its dificult your doing something wrong"100%true statement.i went to the swapmeet got an old tire and rim, practiced, and now i have changed so many tires on my friends bikes its no hassle.saludos, tecate mexico.

  • This is one of the most useful vids on you tube. Thanks heaps. When I follow these instructions my "technique" improved dramatically. Now all the guys get me to change the tyres. There are tricks, even though you say there isn't - use windex, use baby powder to lube the tube, inflate the tube to a certain point. Without these hints tyre changing is a pain in the arse. This makes it easy as. Cheers

  • there are many vids on utube about how to change tires, this one is by far the best, cause there are no parts skipped, it may make the video a lil longer but its realy clear

  • relaax man... ur kinda nervous

  • after watching and practicing this i realized the key is to make sure the bead always stays as close to the bottom of the bowl as it can.this makes the bead feel looser when prying on it.

  • great help, thanks

  • still uh

  • this helped so much thanks

  • Very helpful. Awesome.

  • my tech. must be WAY off cuz i do struggle... a lot

  • Thanks helped me alot

  • great video...love the lube quote.

  • lol... "you can never use too much lube"

    Thats what she said

  • thank you this helped me alot

  • why do you want to use lube?

  • THANKS

  • that's easy.
