  • Goemon 2 is way harder, but i love 1 more than 2 xDDD the story is just badass

  • Tsurami means "pent-up resentment; grudges and hard feelings". So I'd translate the boss' name as "Grudge".

  • One of my best boss of this game.. Such a pain the first time..

  • Does anyone know WHY THE FUCK does this boss keep doing that weird thing where he floats up to you, sticks on you, than gets off doing absolutely nothing to you.

  • @metaXzero You don't want to know dude

  • So what is the difference between this theme and dharumanyo's theme?

  • @zeldadu09

    Only the Beginning.

  • 2 people still cannot beat Tsurami...more than a decade later

  • love the song:) but i barely survived with half a heart out of 9 XD

  • I just had a EPIC fail D: now i understand why tsurami's theme sounded so familiar when i was fighting him. it was the same as dharumanyo's... XD lol

  • This has been my favorite boss fight of the entire game! The music just makes it feel great!

  • ultimate in-game music!

  • Hard to pick favorite songs with Mystical Ninja, but this one is up there.

  • dharumanyo and this theme have a different begging

  • this beat is 2 sick!

sick beat for a sick game

  • At first this and Dharumanyo's theme sound the same. The start up is what sets them apart from one another.

  • @tonitrus01 thas wat i meant lol

  • Thanks for this upload! All the music in this game rocks. Especially the submarine level. It would have been an epic level if it had a boss with this music at the end of it!

  • This game is way too easy. I never died a single time when I was playing it. MN2 on the other hand was so hard it nearly brought me to tears. However the music is epic.

  • agreed, the difficulty gap was pretty big but i loved it. this game was way too easy because when it gave you too much HP to begin with, and finding those damn cats only made it easier.

  • One of my favorite games for the N64... It shall go down in history as Legend.

  • This music is fucking intense, listening to it makes me want to jump outside and battle some ghosts! This game made me realize my true calling in life, finally becoming a ninja.

  • @Waffleterror lol

  • awesome song ^^ i remember the fight with the ghost lol.i have to play it again now! hearing this epic song is just great =)

  • XD my fav theme through the game

  • The ghost Robot

  • dude i sooo remember this boss fight

  • this game was made of win then and is still made of it now

  • This was always my favorite!

  • Starts off just like it did on the SNES version

  • Yep. That's why I love it so much...though the rest of it is also awesome.

It's also a very similar (or the exact same I don't remember) boss from the SNES version where you hit the dishes back at the ghost!!

  • guy,, he's easy and the best way is goemon yes

  • where can i download the music?

  • So fucking epic. XD

  • Anyone else realize the opening part of the song as well as the boss itself is a homage to the first boss from the Legend of Mystical Ninja SNES game (the only one we got in America, I forgot the Japanese name). Same concept with a ghost shooting disc at you to reflect back at her.

  • I think they make a reference to this in one of the Parodius games as well.

  • i know i played tha game on wii

  • i used the "fat man" the lil disk where so small i couldnt hit with sasuke so i thought the hammer would worrk XD

  • where did u get the music from pleez tell me

  • Mystical Ninja had alot of fun boss fights :)

  • Thanks for uploading all of these Mystical Ninja music pieces.

  • Only thing seperating this from Dharumanyo is the first few seconds.

  • i dont know if anyone's noticed, but this is actually an arrangement of the bossfight music from Mystical Ninja on SNES.

it's slowed down and relaxed a bit more, but the cues and musical ideas are very similar

  • Listened 2 it. Besides the first 8 seconds (which only applies to the similar ghost boss), they barely sound alike. Are you referring to another MN game besides game 1?

  • i havent heard the boss music from any other games than the American releases, so yeah, just MN1.

but i wish you were here with me so i could point out the simiilarities measure by measure. cause the SNES music is much faster and more intense than the N64 version, with different instruments.

  • I guess it's the different instruments that's throwing me off. I can identify a similar rhythm (albeit the SNES's is faster) and the first 8 seconds are similar to the ghost boss in the SNES game. But the notes sound too different for me.

Note: I'm listening to the "mystical Ninja SNES Boss Rush" video on Youtube to compare.

  • Thanks for uploading these songs :)

  • I used Sasuke for this fight I don't know why but he just seemed suited for this boss to me.

  • Same here, I always used to use Sasuke for this boss fight. Whenever I got to this temple I would always swap to Sasuke, it's like the temple and boss fight suited the character.

  • yeah your right

  • dharumanyo and this theme are the same -__-''

  • Nope not really. Listen more carefully

  • k :)

  • @cyberdemon1993 Wait. I can't hear the difference.

  • @darkpegasu If you made the best song in the history of videogames would you only use it once?

  • @darkpegasu used to think the same thing, mate but they really aren't

  • @SithAssassin91 HOW???

  • @zeldadu09 they are close but if you listen to them distinctly and carefully you'll hear it

  • That damn fish on a stick right before this allways screwed me up.

  • Use your Rapid punch it PWNS everything

  • The way the temple is aligned can make it confusing. Most gamers are probably used to exploring temples by floor but this temple is aligned by east, west, south, north (or so I would assume based on the letters), so that might make it confusing.

  • i really hated this temple THIS TEMPLE IS HARD AS HELL ON THE EMULATOR

  • the castle is the biggest of all isn't it?

  • I think not, I think Musical Castle is the largest.

  • The Festival temple was such a pain. xD

  • I passed it with no problems.

  • i can't step aside when he throw the "yellow plates"!! the explosion is too heavy!

    what can i do?

  • Are those the plates he throws around when he's twisting like an insane monkey?

  • yes thats right

    ^^

  • You can't dodge them, just make sure you dodge all his other attacks, always play as Sasuke, I thought jump to dodge may work too. Just keep your health full until he throws them around.

  • Okay thank you :D

  • Beat him yet? Keep me up 2 date

  • Or maybe change the character? Even if it is just for a second you are invincible at that moment.

  • This was my fave music in the game! Love the instruments in the beginning!
