i found out, while listening to the Pan's Labyrinth soundtrack, that the last track used in this piece is actually from "Book of Blood".. I thought that was awesome X-D
Yaya's work is always top of the line. The time and money and effort she puts into her costumes is staggering. She is truly a class act and such a darling, sweet girl.
It was actually a mixing of music from Bram Stoker's Dracula, Interview with the Vampire & Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. The final bit is from Pan's Labyrinth.
Yaya & I both collectively listened to hours of gothic music and soundtracks before settling on using these songs.
I saw you on Deviant art, followed the link, and am glad I did. wow, very impressive, you are truly dedicated to 1st rate work. I hope your dreams come true. Thank you for giving your all, I am seriously thinking of being a fan of yours.
I cant deny that it was a good performance and that it did tell a bit of a story, im just sad that, once again another dancing skit won, is that all it takes to win over judges, just some people dancing, cause if thats the case id be more than happy to make up a dance put on my merchant costume again and give it a whirl
If you mean that there was no dialogue, then yeah...it was just dramatic music and acting and *awesome* costumes. Can't imagine why they won. *eyeroll* It was a great performance and even someone who was not familiar with the characters or story would know exactly what was going on (which is more than I can say for most 'dancing skits').
Wow. O.o Not only RED, and bloody, MEAT for the crowd, but an excellent performance start to finish. Not to long not to short and to the point. Glad you recorded this for those who could not be there.
Wow, so cool. I love this kind of skits, I really prefer them to random 'funny' skits... Also, amazing costumes and amazing performance.

This is hardly a dancing skit. And, in my opinion, if that is all you think of masquerades and their performances then you shouldn't be competing.
