Various other people in my neighborhood get them for all sorts of stuff as well. I'd also like to play the game on my psp ..without importing some british version

BUT this game is kinda slow, I mean the walking, fighting etc. so I sometimes used the frameskipper and played with double speed (sometimes). Now i'm going to play BoF IV. :)

Lord on my 5th turn (not considering the EX turns), with Rei, Momo and Ryu as my Team (Attack form) I didn't use Accession nor making Rei as Were, all I did was, on my 1st turn I charm using Rei, then steal using Ryu, then Speed for Momo to cast on Ryu (so that Ryu can have ex-turns), after getting the Dragon sword, I equipped it 2 Ryu, then I use focus on ryu's ex turn, on my 2nd turn I use warshout with rei, another focus for ryu, and might for momo cast on ryu also.
@alerius0015 enemy's turn, D.Lord, use Inferno, I absorb it bcoz of my accessory Ring of fire, ryu's ex turn, I use Aura, which deal about for 7k+, 3rd turn, 1 more W.shout for rei , Aura again (3k+ dmg) then shadow walk for momo (700+ dmg), then ex turn again, 1 focus on ryu.. then on my 4th turn, triple blow for rei (700+ dmg), aura for ryu (4.5k+ dmg), shadow walk (700+ dmg), ryu's ex turn, aura (2k+), then on my 5th turn, I just use Charge.. then that's it..
my fave RPG of all time, I never beat this guy though. I remember I kept turning into a behemoth just to try to do lots of damage and getting my ass kicked. Sure I would kick his ass now though :)

he does not. its learned in another way. i did forget if it was by monster or by master, i think it was both possible. Kaiserdragon can use all of Ryus Abilities in Addition to it's own, so that's where Shadowwalk comes from.

How did you manage to get all the Dragon Genes and items? I can't seem to get any items other than what are sold in shops (no AP items, etc.)

Sorry, I'm kind of a noob at this game, so I don't really know much. My characters' levels vary from 5 to 22 and I'm still stuck in the Underground Laboratory. D:
One other thing, first time I fought this guy, I was extremely unlucky. He used howling A LOT! I only had control of characters for first turn for ages, until I only had peco left. For those of you who hate peco, I can state this, I had no items at all on me (as I hate using items), however, peco still took him down solo. . . Impossible? No, not even close to impossible. The regeneration, free healing with rings of fire and ice, means that half the time teepo just wasted his time :P
I love how a lot of hardcore gaming guides recommend using a party consisting of rei and momo, and how they all think that dragon transformations are extremely godlike, wel, true to an extent, but the mana consumption seems a waste. . . I prefer to just buff until all my charas deal damage like ryu's ultimate kaiser.
Also, Peco is a highly underestimated character, he seems like a real wimp, but when one of his skills is ward of light. . . Watch out :P
i still say bof5(dragon quarter) sucked even if they dedicated the ending to someone Xp i mean the story blew me away but the gameplay just confused me and like...ugh......ps1 was better even with the cute weirdo sprites Xp

Erm... I'd just like to say although i have completed it and i have a core team. I'm thinking about using all the people who mage, nina and momo. This will work because 1. If you have the best armourer with 0 agility decreses, they will have alot more ex goes, therefore hitting adding extra damage. And 2. You use nina in alot of the mini parts, like the contest of champions. So yeah, this vid was VERY GOOD. subbed and 10/10. Thanks for making this. :)

@militantpoet44 I used Momo too. I never liked Peco, but then I'm not a fan of straight physical parties. I like Momo because of her combination of healing/buffing and offensive magics. Nina I just flat out hated. Always seemed like I could do just as much damage with other characters than burning AP like that.
FAIL. You use Momo. :P Everyone knows Peco Peco, Ryu, and Nina is the best! I'm determined to play through again using the emulator, I want the GooKing sword!

A bit different, but the basic idea and control scheme are the same...and it's a fun game to boot. Every consecutive FF game is just better than the last, which is rare for a long video game series. It's hard to call BoF 'long' because there's only five games, but I suppose it could be classified as that. Btw, the longest still-running game series right now is Command & Conquer, no contest.
@RichterBelmontITA I'm going to be a stubborn, obtuse prick and interject by saying that IX fucking owned. It was a contender for the best one. The worst of all was actually II (no-one ever disagrees with that), so the common idea that the series deteriorated over time never did bode well with me.

Damn, this game is good. I remember playing it alot, but then I got stuck somewhere and stopped playing for a while. Then I forgot about it and played other games, now so much time passed I probably have to start over to enjoy it.

Erm... I'd just like to say although i have completed it and i have a core team. I'm thinking about using all the people who mage, nina and momo. This will work because 1. If you have the best armourer with 0 agility decreses, they will have alot more ex goes, therefore hitting adding extra damage. And 2. You use nina in alot of the mini parts, like the contest of champions. So yeah, this vid was VERY GOOD. subbed and 10/10. Thanks for making this. :)

incredible how this game is. even now in 2010, the only problem i see in this game is the fact that they swing their swords in the air. and the hit lands. Apart from that. this is bliss

@militantpoet44 I used Momo too. I never liked Peco, but then I'm not a fan of straight physical parties. I like Momo because of her combination of healing/buffing and offensive magics. Nina I just flat out hated. Always seemed like I could do just as much damage with other characters than burning AP like that.

Hey In the dessert you can find a sword, the best sword in the game really. Called The Royal Sword. Just go north three nights, west until the star is no longer visable, then north 'til you find it.

Also it is NOT the strongest sword. The strongest sword is the GooKing Sword.
It is a rare drop you can get from a GooKing by stealing their Green Apple and then killing them. And i mean REALLY rare.

A bit different, but the basic idea and control scheme are the same...and it's a fun game to boot. Every consecutive FF game is just better than the last, which is rare for a long video game series. It's hard to call BoF 'long' because there's only five games, but I suppose it could be classified as that. Btw, the longest still-running game series right now is Command & Conquer, no contest.
