I had a miscarriage 2 months ago. Me and my husband are going to have a picnic on a hill in the countryside , wait till it gets dark and let it off into the sky for our baby boy/girl. <3

Paper + Fire = Burned to nothing. This will not land on anyone's house. If you understand how a hot air balloon works, then you know, it will not come back down. It floats up and burns completely up.
right now here in the north east of the UK it's 21.35 and it's well below freezing and a crystal clear night!! I've just launched four sky lanterns simultaneously ( i attached them to the washing line and lit them all at once!)...i rang my parents who are 4 miles away and they saw them all fly off, it's that clear tonight!!

The police showed up trying to find out what they were, just as my fog machines in front of the house finished completely blanketing the yard and driveway in fog. You couldn't see more than 10 feet. I launched one for them and they wanted to know where to get them!
The best way to do this is to use diff. color sharpies and write on the lantern how much O'Bama ,and the rest of the Democrats suck,and the fact they are lowlife,anti-american,scumbag,socialist, Democrats.I put alot more nasty anti Dummycrap messages on the lantern.Then I light,let it go,and hopefully it will fal in some asshole Democrats backyard.Or,you can also write a prayer to a deceased loved one as a ritualistic thing and send it off into the heavens.Write all kinds of stuff.
@demmylowther Or you can write your utube name on the lantern and ask the person who finds it to write to your utube page telling you where it landed.It's like a message in a bottle,but on a paper balloon !
How far do they go? There's obviously a craze for them in Scotland, cos I keep seeing ORANGE COMETS all of a sudden. But not last year, or the year before. It must be these things I'm seeing?
does the fuel source burn out completely before they land? I really want to do these, but I suppose I am paranoid and would probably only feel comfortable if it had just rained and no wind...like I said, paranoid
