I think .. rap is good based on how you fill the gaps. It's not hard to fill gaps with random shit about hoes and shooting people. That's mindless and takes no intelligence.

This guy can make a brilliant song about riding a bike through a city. That's what makes him good. The fact it's good doesn't have anything to do with what he raps about, really.

It's like art, you like it for why you like it, not for the reason why it was made.
