Everything has their own pluses and minuses guys, I mean Can Ams are great for just plain stupid amounts of power, Yamahas are tough as nails and will go anywhere, Hondas will run forever, Polaris's will....................................well, almost everyone has their own pluses and minuses (Grizzly 550 owner here)

Close race, but if the were a DQ for crossing the center line the CanAm guy would be out he nearly forced the Grizz into the wall. Mud racing should be solo against the clock, or the distance... IMO
What kind of work do you need to do on the atvs once you have gone into mud, water etc that deep? Do the brake calipers etc need to be stripped and cleaned or ar they pretty easy to maintain.
@DOBERSTAFFIE Mainly, a high pressure water hose is key. Make sure to get the axles clean, along with the transfer case and the shocks. Occasionally you will have a small amount of water in your belt box that can lead to belt slipping and eventually shredding the belt. And wash the radiator often when riding in these conditions as not doing so will lead to overheating issues.

we have a grizz 660 and can am 400 and the canam will outmud the grizz any day that canam is just a tank in the mud id put it up against a brute force or 800 sportsman any day
I own an 08 grizzly 700 and an 09 can am outlander 800R..you cant even compare the two..the outlander destroys the grizzly..dont get me wrong i luv the grizzly cuz its like a caddilac..but the power of the can am is unmatched!!
very ture my friend and em went rock crawling he had a outlander 800 and i had my gizzly 700(with no EPS) and i deystroyed the 800 it couldnt keep and balance and had horriable burst accelration wicth it needed and the 800 suspention wasnt so hot on the really akward positions only think the gizzly did bad was on the 2 1/2 feet of clay on the way back

the only reason the grizz kept up with the canam was because he kept against the wall of the bog which helps you alot and the canam stayed in the center dont get me wrong thats exactly what your suppose to do the guy on the grizz def new what he was doing but in the pits or any where canam will kick a grizzlys ass my neighbor has one and its a 700 and he has yet to beat me in anything we can think of and ps i am a profesional so dont try to tell me i dont know what im talking about

man... my buddies can am beat me in water/mud race cause the grizzly 700 are light soo kinda float... but when we actually hit a mud bog.. i won it smoked my budz can am......and it was a 650 can am with 27" xtr... and i had a grizzly 700 /w 26 mudlites... that are now 29.5 LAWS!!!!!

the grizzly killed it..because the can am had"Outlaws and clutch kit, snorkel and idk what else" and the grizzly looked to be all stock, if that grizzly had some laws, snorkel, and a clutch kit on er..she would destroy the can am for jokes.

we have a grizz 660 and can am 400 and the canam will outmud the grizz any day that canam is just a tank in the mud id put it up against a brute force or 800 sportsman any day

I own an 08 grizzly 700 and an 09 can am outlander 800R..you cant even compare the two..the outlander destroys the grizzly..dont get me wrong i luv the grizzly cuz its like a caddilac..but the power of the can am is unmatched!!

very ture my friend and em went rock crawling he had a outlander 800 and i had my gizzly 700(with no EPS) and i deystroyed the 800 it couldnt keep and balance and had horriable burst accelration wicth it needed and the 800 suspention wasnt so hot on the really akward positions only think the gizzly did bad was on the 2 1/2 feet of clay on the way back
