i'm having enough trouble trying to change a blown bulb with the standard spec bulbs on my 95 w124. on the drivers side (rhd), the plastic cover that covers the headlamp housing is a bitch to unclip. wish there was a vid showing that.
heywhats up, i have a W124 too, and i installed an HID as well, but on the dash board in the car the yellow light comes on saying that one of the bulbs has a problem. Do you have the same thing ?
@MrAlex19891 , no i put b-xenon which handles both lights. i heard about same problems with other colleagues in bulgarian mb forum and there is a fix, but i didnt read the entire post about it. Search in your local mb club forums for this.
Read Daniel Stern's website about why it's a bad idea to put HIDs in lamps that aren't designed for them.
Bottom line is that it's not how much light's coming out of the front of your car, but where that light is shining that's important. HID conversions will actually give worse vision to you and blind oncoming traffic. Both of these things are dangerous to you and others.
You can't do this shit, you need projector assemblies designed for use with 4000-4300k D1s, or D2s bulbs. This blinds the living daylights out of people, especially at 6,000 kelvins.
я поступил более гуманно с задними крышками фар, пропустив провода в углубления в притворе, сделанные дрелью. В итоге фары осталались практически герметичны, а не как в этом случае.
Just don't forget these retrofit HID conversion bulbs are illegal to use on the road in the US, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luembourg, Malta, Netherland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, UK.......
Hey, I live in Lithuania, and he speaks BS, we use them here. Not sure if bixenon fitted into regular lamps, but not-bi xenons are a common thing. We have flouriscent neon laps banned for road use though.

Why did you take the blinker out briefly? For the wiring? Were there good places to mount the ballasts? Nice install!

its way better than factory lights and its not like 12000k blinding the middle power 6000k is the best.

Unless you change your standard headlamps to ones which are designed to take the glare from the new xenon bulbs,
