I wonder why everyone cares about dinosaurs. Prehistoric mammals and synapsids and repto-amphibians and fish-phibians are cool too

Probably because they were so big. It's not like there is much to say about the Therapsids other than the fact that they were our ancestors.

@N00bcrunch3r they are still cool. Therocephalia had posion! gorgonops had huge saberteeth. dimetrodon was powerful.

Homotherium also had short, strong sabers. Shrews and Solenodons have venomous bites and well...many creatures have bizarre skull, such as Uintatherium.
