I'm sure Fat Blue doesn't mean to be cranky. He's probably a very loving, caring, kind hearted man. He only acts cranky because, Grover questions him a lot on what he orders, Grover a lot of times gets him the wrong thing, and mostly, he is usually in a hurry where his boss gives him a very short lunch break which is why he wears a suit a lot. Also, Fat Blue does have a wife where she was never seen but, she was mentioned in two skits. One in a photo shop, and the other at a movie theater.
