  • watch from 0:17 i swear to god that eye blinked at me.

  • It looks like an eye (green color)..... Pretty cool!!!

  • If you jump in, you'll come out at hogwarts

  • this just made me really....really....REALLY thirsty....

  • it looks my supra's turbo

  • e so un jardim

  • throw your cat in it

  • will it blend??

  • @TheAeroflotbitch I don't think you understand

    it IS the blender.

  • i dare you to drop the camera

  • I see this in my bowl every morning. whats the point?

  • mm I got thirsty!!

  • ...Behold the world's biggest toilet flushing mechanism!

  • Have you guys ever sat in a bathtub and pulled the plug? Exact same physics.

The drain at the bottom creates some suction, because of the water moved by GRAVITY. The pump at the input has nothing much to do with the actual vortex, the geometry of the basin creates the vortex spin and it can only go one way (If one wanted the vortex to spin the other way the input needs to be positioned on the other side). The water input could also come from a tank reservoir or a river, same thing.

  • bali?

    where is it?

  • @TheLeviathanGirl it's in Baung near Kedewatan

  • @TheKosay In that case you are an idiot.

  • i want to see a little boat sink into it :3

  • you can actually stick your hand in?

  • well done

  • can i build one of these

  • okay who devided by zero?

  • Looks like a hurricane on satellite imagery.

  • theres a monkey looking up at up ...he/she must be stuck : <

  • lol

  • 2 words papper boat

  • @laurynas102 Seriously? People these days can't even spell "paper"? What has HAPPENED?

  • @SouthwesternEagle sorry my english bad :)

  • @laurynas102 Oh. Sorry! Dx

You'd be surprised how many Brits, Aussies, and Americans can't spell.

  • What happens if your go into it?

  • I wonder where youd end up in that thing

  • for all those people who dont get how it works.... it's like a toilet. a little beyond the entrance of the pipe there is a vacuum which provides the pull force on the water,

  • looks like a black hole is at the center

  • @deathleader100 its a clearer version of a hurricane

  • @donovanstt7 look at 0:18 and stop it and tell me you don't see a black hole

  • @deathleader100 i see it!

  • @deathleader100 the "black hole" you see is the counter bearing for the (not installed) turbine. See my other video for the turbine.

  • i want to sit in it :P

  • 0:12 it looks like a hurricane

  • don't, drop, the camera!

  • Its like sorcerer apprentice when mickey gets sucked in a whirlpool with the sorcerer's book of magic before yen sid saves the day.

  • it sounds like when i go pee

  • If you reverse the direction of the pump impeller does it change the direction of the vortex, counter-clockwise to clockwise?

  • @YeOldClipper "If you reverse the direction of the pump impeller does it change the direction of the vortex, counter-clockwise to clockwise?"

That wouldn't work, to reverse the direction of the vortex, he'd have to move the inlet to the other side of the bowl. Not moving it and running the impeller in reverse would cause it to stall or blow water back towards the swimming pool he's getting it from; like a leaky plug.

  • @lexichronicle2 the direction of the impeller rotation has nothing to do with the direction of the vortex rotation.

  • put an ant in it. ride of a lifetime.

  • Reminds me of a black hole, awesome.

  • can you fuck it?

  • chuck norris has been here

  • looks like it could be a hurricane... if it were like 100,000 times bigger

  • It wasn't really noticable. Those effects are apparently much stronger when joecell water is used.

  • How does it feel around it? Do you feel tension or something?

Because the rotation is backward of what people use for calm meditation

  • It's kinda looks like a hurricane

  • Imagine how sick it would be to be really really small and stand in the middle of it with big walls of water around you.

  • It's a very big natural pool so it's hard to tell. I believe it helped to establish the ecosystem initially.

  • Very nice vortex. I am curious if you noticed any difference in the water staying clean since this is a swimming pool set up?

  • i see the singularity, very cool.

  • The great power of the Vortex was unleashed by Viktor Schauberger in the 30's and 40's and all it's mysteries laid bare by Walter and Lao Russell in their detailed Cosmology explaining the twin opposing Electro-magnetic vortices which give form to everything in the Universe, from the smallest to the largest.

Beautiful implosion work. Are you running a generator with it?

  • beautiful :o) some lighting effects with RGB LEDs would be something else! peace

  • i wanna see more

  • it's just for decoration...

  • @TheKosay How would it be operated if not by gravity?

  • @fredstereo2000 Magic.

    Are you a wizard?

  • @fredstereo2000 inertia of the water causes the water to turn due to direction that it is flowing when inserted into the pool. change the direction that the water is flowing and you'll either have a big pool of nothing or it will turn in the opposite direction.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheKosay How would it be operated otherwise?

  • @fredstereo2000 Mormons would say magnets.

  • that is awesome :3

  • That as cool bird bath

  • Throw an ant in it

  • i was lookin for how to make a bong,,.. then this showed up,. lol

  • @SImaui lmao wow man

  • tualet

  • tank you dude now i can imagine a lot of better what happents if you are in the middle of an orcan

  • does the pumps suction have ANY play in this or is it purely gravitational if so where is the pump getting its water from?

  • it is purely gravitational. The 3.5hp submersible pump sucks it from a swimming pool, feeds it into the vortex inlet and from there it's all gravitational back into the pool.

  • @fredstereo2000 "it is purely gravitational, The 3.5hp submersible pump sucks it from a swimming pool, feeds it into the vortex" = the vortex is fed by a pump & is thus Not "purely gravitational".

I hope you see the rather obvious flaw in your reasoning here too.

  • @marsCubed Build one yourself and you'll know. It is really simple.

  • i love that sound
