  • The only thing we have is Brokeback Mountain :(.

  • its normal that Rose could not forget Jack since he saved her life, but as i have mentioned before, i hightly doubt these two could live together for long if Jack did not die, the hardship on maintaining a daily life would erase the love slowly, they are not liked Ennis & Jack, who shared the same education, interest and really living together for a while in BBM which proved to be workable

  • I am not saying Ennis & Jack had no fault, they did wrong to their wives, but at least they did it discretly and not openly suck it into Rose's financee face by hand in hand in front of all passegers and made her financee losing face

  • Blub: is it just me or this most people's experience of love as opposed to what movies normally tell you it's going to be like?

  • Comment removed

  • they never spoke any endearment to each other, not even the slightest of it, but the love between them is undying, love in its most sublime form.

  • I still cant believe Heath is gone.. :(

  • @GojiJuicePowe I try to tell myself that he is still living as Ennis, forever loving Jack. And one day, we gonna meet him in heaven.

  • this movie made my life so much better.

  • I just watched this movie, i dont kniw why i never do it before.... It breaks my heart to see the love between them... It touched me in a way that most other romantic movies!!! Its just so real n amzing how you can feel them through this movie, just great;))

  • @jayzeee1919 totally agreed. i still shed tears whenever i watch the clips in youtube, after 524 days of watching. A love that is in its highest and purest form between 2 person!

  • why do i feel all this love within me every time i watch this scene...it appears from somewhere deep deep inside my soul

  • The greatest romantic film of all times, even greater than Gone with the wind.Without computer technology, extravagent settings, costume, big named stars, but still left such a powerful effect on my heart, no other movie did it. ONLY THIS ONE.

  • @Miranda1184 beside the moving story, this film is all about settings.. really, nature is the most extravagant setting. You can tell it from the camera angles. And yes, costume is important...big named stars? Heath fuckin' Ledger!!

  • @guiriquita you are right, nature is the most extravagent setting, just that most common movie goers prefer those with computer technology but with shallow love as Titanic

  • @Miranda1184 well, let's say I'm a fan of both movies XD

  • @guiriquita no offence, Titanic is an entertaining movie. But purely speaking of love, it is no match with BBM.A few days' romance on ship cannot be compared with 20 years of undying love. If jack did not die, could the noble class Rose endure to live in poor conditions with Jack? I doubt. Whats more, they try their best to cover the fault of Jack & Rose being betrayed her financee by putting her financee low, is a shallow act.

  • @Miranda1184 you do realize that BBM is based on a novela, right? So sure, the story seems more developed than Titanic, which is for pure entertainment. Nevertheless, Titanic is such a movie that inspires me a lot. IMO, Jack is more honorable than her abusive, though, rich fiance, who can only provide her material possessions, but not the love and empathy. You can see that Rose is suffocated and wants to get out of that trap, and Jack is there as her lifeline, her freedom, her means of escape.

  • @guiriquita i knew, and thanks for your valuable imput. of course Jack is much better than Rose's financee, but i think they are making the story too simple, naive and not as subtile as bbm. No one is perfect, I prefer BBM's way of interpretating Ennnis & Jack coz they did not hide their faults and showed their human side of "ugliness". You are young while I am old, so its normal that you like Titanic. One day when you grow older, you may appreicate BBM more, i guess.

  • @Miranda1184 as I said, I'm a fan of both, and it's really hard for me to decide or judge which one is better, regardless of my being young and our amount of life experiences. BBM is very emotional, slow-paced, yet more credible, and on the countrary, Titanic is a formulaed movie, story-wise a lot less credible, but meant to get us all on the edge of our seats and mixed with emotions, and I appreciate it for what it is. Still, I have to say both movies have me crying every time I watch XD

  • @guiriquita thanks for your valuable imput, you are very wise for your young age.

  • WOW players quote this too

  • This movie is so freaking emotional. Some movies, like Titanic, make you cry, but still, you are happy after the Titanic movie, when Rose dies and in Heaven, she meets Jack. But this movie, it doesn't only make you cry, it makes you want to rip your sinking heart out. You feel extremely sad afterwards, and you can't help thinking "Why couldn't they be together." You feel the pain with Jack and Ennis. This movie is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, romantic movies ever.

  • @Hkens1 great post, can't agree any more. THE GREATEST!

  • It breaks my heart heaths face at 4:23 when he realizes what he pissed away over the last 20 years

  • In a couple decades when homosexuality is accepted, people will realize this movie was as ground breaking as "To kill a mockingbird"

  • one of the greatest screenplays ever written and one of the best films ever shown

  • I love them, love their acting talent, love their love in movie

  • Simply wonderful.

So sensible some people cannot even feel what is that feeling.

One of the best scenes and script.

  • "I wish i knew how to quit you".....how deep the love Jack to Ennis......so touching....

  • He waited a whole f__ing week to say it, because he didn't wan't to ruin their romantic getaway,... and some people say he didn't care about Jack? Nice plot, actually. Great script.

  • 57 need to go south, where it's warm. Kidding.

  • this scene sums up the whole story where love is so intence and their emotions are brought to the open to makes us all feel what st like to be with someone we really care for....awesome i must say Jack's performance was best....Heath R.I.P

  • He loves him so much. <3

  • @Miranda1184 This has been my favourite movie of all time since I was twelve, and I am a straight girl. I still can't watch it without having that wrenching feeling in my chest. I remember when I first saw it - I think it was a turning point for me at which I became a deeper and more compassionate person. It saddens me too that so many supposedly 'mature' and 'experienced' people can't see past the fact that it's about two men and appreciate the tragic beauty of this film.

  • So beautiful, deeply emotional scene. One of my favourites movies, great lovely characters and Jake & Hedge: such great actors!. Love is Love, it doesn`t matter if you are straight, bi or homo, it`s all the same: everything is just about love, actually.

    Sorry for my english.

  • So sad. But that scene of them when they were young is sweet, two beautiful guys in love.

  • This movie never ceases to just wrench my heart out and have me a bawling mess by the end. It's a powerful, touching movie. It's a beautiful love story. Heart breaking but beautiful.

  • I know men as straight as a dye unable to speak after this movie...a very powerful original film. Typicaly you see more naked women in this film its meant to be a love story about two men!!

  • its sad that they never knew how deep they were loved by each other, until its too late. I mean Jack never knew Ennis though never told him, but loved him more deep than Jack could imagine. And Ennis, he obvious knew Jack loved him, but never knew its so deep until he saw the 2 in 1 shirt........ crying

  • oh god, want to cry again .....

  • cry again:"(

  • This scene rips my heart out and stomps on it. And it's very painful. :''< but go ahead BBM! It's not like I was using it anyway, was it?

Emotinal outbursts aside, this scene is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I can't understand how a movie, about 23 pictures per second on a cameraroll, can express so much and reach out to so many people.

  • @SkyIaam BBM is the greatest romantic film of all times.

  • @SkyIaam oh god, i read your profile that you are only 17 but you are wise enough to appreicate this piece of art, while many people i know who are over 30 failed to understand. I have to day your wisdom go beyond your young age, i wish I was as smart as you, i didn't have a brain untile i reached 30.

  • so that's how the joker got those scars

  • crying again ......

  • I never saw the movie just this clip.

    That's some good acting though!

  • i'm straight and i dont like gay ppl much but this scene is probably the most powerful scene i've seen between a couple

  • @MrFan32 yeah, unspoken words, undeclared but love undying love, hidden in their subtled expressions and words. Great actings. RETURN THEM THE ROBBED OSCARS!

  • they fight like an old married couple... so cute, so heartbreaking,

  • Jake Twist was a once in a life time good character to act and for winning award, now my beloved Jake is running out of luck, never got another nomination. Poor him, he has a face too pretty and a bit feminine, the judges used to think to have a pretty face means you have no acting skills, poor Jake.

  • I lost count on how many times I have cried for BBM .? mroe than 100 at least .... My heart twists whenever I think of the poor fate of Ennis & Jack, especially poor Jack who never got what he deserved......

  • Heath & Jake will be immortal, never will be forgotten with their brilliant performances as Ennis & Jack. Health is forever living as Ennis, he just went to a place where we all eventually will join him a bit sooner than us. His life was abundant, he had achieved so much in a short span of time when most people will never achieve in their whole lives.

  • this Ennis is so selfish, he is not willing to live with Jack but keeps Jcak in a cage and does not allow him to find a substitute. If he really loves Jack, he should set Jack free ....

  • "for boys like YOU? what about him? lol.

    great movie, great actors.

  • Amazing scene!!! Crazy to think these guys were both 23/24 (same age) when shooting this!!!

  • @Paperbagman555 unbelievable great acting skills, if not for the biased and conservative Oscar JUDGES, both should have won the best actor and best supporting actor.

  • @Miranda1184 Well Jake Gyllenhall should've won for best supporting - no question. While Heath Ledger was really really good he was no match for Phillip Seymour Hoffman in ''Capote''

  • @Paperbagman555 sorry, i haven't seen the performances of Seymour. May be he really was better, but Health was gusty enough to take up a controversial role and this should add him more merits in my opinion.

  • @Miranda1184 Yeah he was great. Although i just thought Jake was robbed. He did so so well, and it's really a shame because Heath finally won his oscar after he died :(

  • @Paperbagman555 I feel extremely sad for Health too, what a talented actor. But sometimes accidents just happened and life is always not totally fair.. We can just comfort ourselves that both him and Jake will never be fogotten and Health is forever living as Ennis. Thanks for replying me, you are really nice. I sent out a few PM just to praise the posters for their good cmts on BBM but they never reply. Have a nice day.

  • @Miranda1184 Yeah, no problem. When i saw this film there were flaws about. Maybe because i'm straight, but i think i just love this film because i have been thinking about it at for quite a few days now. Just at instances in the day but it really changed some views i had. A friend of mine is gay (well i'm pretty positive) and everyone wants him to come out of the closet, it sounds like an easy task at least i thought it was. But clearly it's not. Also - Saddest ending in this movie :(

  • @Paperbagman555 yeah saddest but also the most beautiful and romantic. thanks.

  • ♥♥♥

  • "You know friend, this is a goddamn bitch of an unsatisfactory situation"

    Best line ever!

  • jesus so fucking gay

  • @MrFan32 man you're so shallow.

  • Cannot believe these guys were only in their early twenties filming this, their acting is incredible . .

  • @valentines34x yes they are

  • ALBERTA! I love this movie, love the acting, but all i ever see is the mountains i grew up in. I Love how all of these movies are set in the US but they're all shot in Alberta or BC. I'm not bitter about it, it makes me proud if anything. I mean this movie is beautiful but the setting makes it that much better.

  • Hey, thanks a lot for this. I'm definitely in love with this movie...

May I ask you sth ? What do you think Ennis means when he tells jack about all the things he doesn't know? That he would kill him about those things he doesn't know? What are your interpretations (I'm asking to everyone)?

    Thanks a lot again!

  • @anelehh11 Remember the scene when Jack tells Ennis that he has an affair with a married woman ? I guess that the married woman is actually the guy he and Lureen met with his wife. So, in my opinion, what Ennis means is that he knows what he does in Mexico (he says it himself "I know the kind of things they have for guys like you in Mexico"), and the real kind of affair he has, he just doesn't want to admit it because he's jealous, so he threatens Jack to kill him if he ever has to face it.

  • @SPKasabian Oh okay, that's what I thought... Thank you very much !!

  • so ironic..

jake die in this movie but infact heath die in real life

  • everytime i see a scene with heath in it i get so sad because i can't believe he's gone. he's a truly amazing actor who left too soon. love this movie!

  • Beautiful scene, with passion., true love...life is very complicate big thing...and love even more

  • I wish I knew how to quit you...// my all-time favorite quote :)

  • @Solnemeth totally agreed, i still think of it on a daily basis 481 days after watching. I think I will never forget this movie till the day i die

  • It's my favorite scene. I just loveeeeeeeee this movie. Heath Ledger was such an amazing actor. I really do miss him :(

He was such a bigg big big inspiration.

I hope he's doing well up there.

    I miss u ,Heath <3

  • Hey guyz - Thanks for uploading BrokeBack Mountain Movie - I really enjoyed it - Keeping up the good work - Al

  • 56 ppl hate cowboys

  • The way jack looks at ennis when he leaves riding the horse, it's just beautiful and cute...one of the best movies ever...

  • one movie which words cant describe absaloutly breathtaking<3X<3X<3

    R.I.P Heath we miss you..XXXX<3<3<3XXX

  • @diztanguy thank you so much, you are a very fair person. BBM is the best romantic film of all times for me. Never saw a love bigger than Ennis & Jack's, and it is expressed in a subtle way, they have never said any endearments to each other or having lots of intimate scenes. But they can just simply sit with each other and we already felt their love. This film would be the best film of the year if Ennis & Jack are not two men. Nice to meet you, I wish you a good day.,

  • @broadcastbeefy (2) the scene showed that Jack was beaten by some anti-gay was Ennis's imagination but i think this is also the truth. Jack was very handful on reparation of cars, so no way he would get killed by such kind of accident.

  • @broadcastbeefy the reason why Jack died is left ambiguous both in the original fiction and the movie but most probably he was killed by some homophobic as Jack has a relationship with his male neighbour Randall (he only loved Ennis but was too lonely and frustruted that Ennis did not agree to live with him so he hook up with Randall). His wife of course did not want to tell others that her hubby was gay as it is a disgrace so she lied that he was killed by accident. What was showing - conti

  • Crying my eyes out. I have seen this movie so many times and every single time I've CRIED MY EYES OUT. I love this movie so much. <3

  • @ThisIsntOurReality me too, i have no more guts to watch the whole movie, i just dared to watch till they re-united coz after that, too sad.....

  • @Miranda1184 I know what you mean. :(

  • @ThisIsntOurReality thank you, loved to see anotehr BBM lover, i always thought those who loved BBM are sensitive and have a big heart, nice to meet you.

  • @Miranda1184 Nice to meet you too. :D

  • @broadcastbeefy thanks, yes, they both loved each other, but sadly their characters are very different. Jack is romantic and willing to take risk while Ennis is too chicken hearted but deep down inside I think he also loved Jack a lot, at a level which is a lot higher than most normal people do, but its not as obvious as Jack's love towards Ennis and this Ennis seldoms shows his emotions.

  • @broadcastbeefy oh after checking what I wrote, I meant Jack wasted his youth on Ennis. If i were him, i would not wait Ennis for 20 years, waiting for Ennis to finally said yes to living with Jack, as it would never happen, not until Jack was died and Ennis knew what he has lost.

  • @broadcastbeefy sorry I forgot what i wrote? they met each other in 1963 when both of them were 19. Both Ennis & Jack wasted their youth, coz they should be living with each other together as soon as they left bbm, and not making their love so painfully through the 20 years. It was only when Jack died that Ennis felt regretted of not living with Jack but only managed to see him so rare by those fishing trips

  • best scene -they deserved an oscar after that , just great heart felt acting and so emotional too. Kinda reminds me when me and my girlfriend get into fights and when things get tough for both of us.

  • o god. i cried

  • I'm never gonna stop crying while watching this.

  • @ofrahazz me too, i could never undrestand how come there are people who do not shed tears for watching BBM, its the saddest but also the most beautiful film ever

  • @ofrahazz Me too !

  • This scene is so strong! Amazing acting from two of our times best actors. I feel so sorry that Heath is gone know though:/

This movie has touched me a long time now, the only prejudices I had about gays were gone after watching it.

The line "I wish I knew how to quit you" is EPIC and SO true! Many times when you're in love, you wish that you knew how to quit a person, though it's most of all times, impossible. This movie is a universal epic movie that will live forever! LONG LIVE LOVE!

  • @loedwigg Jake and Heath are now legends for their roles as Jack and Ennis, they will never be forgotten. I have to say, you are very wise coz you are young but you can understand this piece of art.

  • @Miranda1184 Thank you! :) This movie is important! And it means a lot to many people for sure..

  • @loedwigg you are most welcome. You are wise and polite, i saw many horrible comments made by many posters, some are young and some are not young ..... I hope people can be more sympathtic and tolerantto people who do not harm you. See how this deepest love I ever witnessed ruined by people who are ignorant and heartless

  • even when they argued with each other, we can still feel their love. Ennis loved Jack so much that he could not stand Jack did some "buying trips in Mexico" and Jack, even though Ennis did not treat him well enough and had wasted his youth, still embraced and comforted Ennis when he saw Jack cried. This undying love can never be rivalled.

  • Amazing scene, wonderful acting! The "dozy embrace" scene is undoubtedly the most romantic scene EVER! The look on Jack's face as Ennis rides away on the horse is to die for. It hurts me physically to watch this scene....so heartfelt and heart wrenching.

  • @supoovame agreed. that profound look on Jack's eyes is unforgettable for me, but sadly after that, the scene turned back to reality, when Jack saw off Ennis for the last time, his eyes are full of disappointment, sadness and anger, that scene is the most painful for me, even more painful than Ennis discovering the 2-1 shirt or "Jack i swear" scene as Jack had wasted 20 years of youth for Ennis ....

  • Comment removed

  • briallant acting by Heath and Jake, they should have won the Oscars if the judges are not that biased and discriminated gay people, I am crying, for more than 100 times, again ......

  • I don't understand why the cosmetic men made them looking so old, they are only 39, not that old, but they now look 49! I wanted to see their good looking faces!

  • This is absolutely hell to watch that pain that they have when they love each others but they just can't be like that always. If i remember right, this was the last time they saw each others? Even though you can see Ennis trying to fight for it and also Jack, even though Ennis tries to deny it, you can see that they love each others and that's why they're that. I love this movie and i cry every time i see it. One of the most beautiful love story in movie, right after Titanic.

  • @HeatherBkens yes their love is the deepest that i have ever witnessed both in life and on films, I never can forget this movie. A love that never dies is rare today, with the drop of many people's moral standards, thats why I love this movie so much.

  • @HeatherBkens sorry, Tiantic is nothing when compared with BBM, it has extravagent costume, settings, computer technology to make it good for eyes, but speaking of love, Jack and Rose's love cannot be compared with Jack and Ennis's. One lasted forever and the other? I highly doubt Jack and Rose can live together happily should Jack n ot died, do you think Rose can stand the poverty forever?

  • can't help crying... <3 this movie...

  • @GBL2K9 you do realize that you purposely searched for this you know that? you are so lame. grow up

  • Ennis Del Mar: [crying] Well, why don't you? Why don't you just let me be? It's because of you Jack, that I'm like this! I'm nothin'... I'm nowhere... Get the fuck off me! I can't stand being like this no more, Jack.

  • It really p*sses me off when people are like "Brokeback Mountain? Oh, that movie about the homo cowboys?"... It's one of the most beautiful films of all time, and is above anything else a story about forbidden love. I wish more people could see and understand it

  • @EdNortonisMineLol i agree, its a beautiful film i adore Heath and Jake. its just such a good film, i cud watch it 100 times or more n never get bored :). its so sad tho :(.

  • Comment removed

  • @EdNortonisMineLol Exactly:) Why people needs to say, the movie "about faggots"? It's just about love and friendship between two guys. It's about power of love and about emotions, that can two boys have to each other. Everyone of us can meet a person, who can change his life. No matter, if it is girl or boy. People feelings are so complicated, deep and strong. If you feel something to the same gender, it doesn't everytime mean, that you're gay or lesbian or what. It's just feelings.

  • @Aluska88 Well said :)

  • Ennis is humming to Jack by the fire and shortly afterwards Jack watches him off on the horse, this being Jack thinking hopelessly back to Brokeback Mountain. Then the scene reverts back to the truck driving off, what we know as the last time Ennis and Jack see one another. This scene breaks my heart. They can't be together due to society, and that society has run them down so much that their last moments are ruined. Jack is reminiscing of what was and what could have been. It's just so awful.

  • T^T

  • :'(

  • ogni volta che vedo questo film non posso fare a meno di commuovermi.E' forse un

effetto della cd." Sindrome di Standhall "? Se si questo film è una vera opera d'arte:

  • This movie's so sad. Watching life slip by because of a fear of being persecuted. "son of a whoreson bitch" lol. I say that all the time now.

  • so beautiful, a love like this is... everything!

  • In my opinion, Heath Ledgers best acting is in this film.

  • 6:20 jack doesnt have his beard then at 7:14 it grows back lol.

    Great movie btw.best ever!

  • @mark12345680 It's a flashback to a happier time in their relationship.

  • @mark12345680 He's remembering when they were younger. It's not a flaw.

  • the "huge scene" is so sad ç___ç

  • i love this movie

  • seems to me this love turned out more real than many other loves between man and woman..

  • omg i can't help sobbing. What a powerful scene, incredibly well performed...

  • "I wish I knew how to quit you... Well, why don't you? Why don't you just let me be? It's because of you Jack, that I'm like this! I'm nothin'... I'm nowhere". My favourite line from a favourite film. Possibly the most powerful line I've ever come across on the silver screen (and Youtube!).

  • i STILL CRY...

  • I still cant believe Heath Ledger not winning the oscar for best actor for this film powerful film.

  • my all time favourite film

so beautiful but so so painful

  • Really good acting. Beautiful scene

  • @lissellol reaaaly gooood!

  • made me cry.

  • so sad... Heath Ledger deserved an oscar for this performance...

  • Jeez I love this scene!!! Omg!

  • I had to watch it a few times until I got what was happening, that near the end of the scene Jack was flashing back to when they were young. Ennis says, "I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow." And the look on Jack's face, one of calmness and certainty and benevolence as he watches Ennis ride off, knowing he'll see him tomorrow.

Of course, in the present day, on which the scene ends, they will never see one another again. It's achingly beautiful.

  • This scene is beautiful. So full of emotions, love, friendship, unspoken words. Brilliant acting, brilliant. I feel so bad about Heath Ledger, it's a huge loss for the world.

  • amazing scene

  • Oh god, this is such a beautiful and painful part of the movie......so so sad...thanks for uploading!

  • this is good acting. damn!

  • omg, so wait.

i didn't catch it the first time i saw the movie...!

jack cheated on ennis? hmm, i want a man like him (ennis. wouldn't bother having jack either, hehe!)

this scene is awesome. i love them.

  • One of the most beautiful scenes from any movie...I feel for Ennis...Brings a tear to my eye , even after watching it as many times as I have...Still brings a tear to my eye !

  • why embedding disabled??????????????

  • love this movie!!

    n so this scene!

    one of the bests...

i can´t stand this anymore jack...

    T.T

  • What an emotional scene...

  • Ah, tears again - and I've watched this movie six fucking times.

  • prince of persia luvs the joker.

  • one of the most beautiful love stories i've seen on cinema!!!

  • @1alicewonderland i agree, jack n ennisforever <3. lovely tragic film, i love it
