I rehabbed these 4, I think I can say, though I never brought them home, I just provided food on a few times a week, till they were independent. Last I saw them was in the fall, and they were healthy and frisky.

Hi wow, had no idea this video was still here.

1) These were orphaned skunks that I rehabbed (I am a licensed wildlife rehabber, working a a rehabilitation facility), they are not pets, and were released back into the wild when old enough to fend for themselves

2) At this age and size, they are not able to spray at their full potency

skunks actually make great pets i now a lady who has them in her yard and they made friends with the dog. mommy skunk often leaves her babies with the dog for some free babysitting

@0dour it's defending itself, not attacking. when a skunk sprays, it runs at very high speeds and the spray contains a pheremone which will stun you, and the smell well keep you away. sorry to say it, but you won't be stamping anyone.

baby skunks dont spray.. but judging them is difficult. some what looks to be a 'baby' skunk does spray!

they give a hiss and a stomp with tail curled over thier back, if ya dont take the warning.. they'll turn and soak anything up to 15ft radius.

He's not angry. Just either defensive or possibly playful. They do this little "war dance" with stomping their feet when approached by unknowns, or when in a playful mood. If he were really angry with you, he'd be aiming his butt at ya, making a little growling noise, ready to spray. If he were really mad, you'd know it. ;)

The other one doesn't look even remotely put off by you.

Too damn cute. My Dad had a pet skunk for a while until he began acting aggressive. He would do that stomping if he got upset. But he was also one of the sweetest little critters we ever had in the beginning. He would do the skunky rug. We had a halter for him and would take him for walks. And he would eat bugs, grubs, bees!
