  • at the end of the day, keisha was the best

  • Keisha is terrible in this this god knows why she got saved.

  • i actually thought tara was good

  • Keisha sang i little bit better than Tara

So im glad SALW Saved her

  • I think both their voices weren't that great. I don't know what Andrew saw in Keisha, I don't like sound of her voice and the way she performs... but he's the expert, not me. One more thing, who did Keisha's make up, it's awful... too much blush. She doesn't need the make up, she'd look much better without it.

  • I don't think either of their voices are suited to this song, but the acting is quite good! Niamh or Sarah would be very good at it but Keisha's voice is a bit too powerful and Tara didn't go deep enough into the meaning of the song in my opinion. I definitely think Andrew was right to save Keisha here.

  • KEISHA SHOULD HAVE GONE

  • TARA shouldn't of gone! RACHEL OWNED IDA!

  • God I hated Tara. Awful awful awful!! glad she went!!

  • @glassbooks she's NOT awful!!!! She must have talent if she got that far! :P

  • I think Connie Talbot sang this better and she is 6!

  • I think Tara should have stayed. I'm not saying that cause i'm from Rhyl or anything, but i just reckon Tara was better tbh.

    (: x

  • I know that Tara got kicked off after this, but I think it should have been Keisha. Her breath control was terrible during this song, and it was all choppy. Tara did it in a more modern way making the song her own, but it was very fluent.

  • tara's voice is so painful to listen to...sounds a bit strained

  • Actually she was good in this song.

  • I think Tara sang better.

  • Hmmm

What also annoys me is the way the judges, mostly Denise Van Outen, says 'that wasn't very Nancy like' and 'I don't believe your scared of Bill Sykes'

And the song will be a very happy song. Hmmm, theya re going to sing it happily.

I was made up when Andrew Lloyd Webber contradicted them all when Keisha sang the 20's number!

  • They get them to sing a lot of pop songs because it's a TV talent show and needs to appeal to a wide audience. In it's defence, most modern musicals do actaully have a pop score, so it's hardly that far removed from the genre to be honest.

  • i completely agree with what everyone is saying...how is everyone supposed to judge the girls' ability to be nancy when they never get th chance to sing nancy-esque songs apart from when they r being voted off?

  • I agree with haydemuch. What is the point in constantly singing pop songs, which they sing poorly, and then sing Musical Theatre numbers in which their true potential - not to mention what they are going to end up doing - shows.

Anyone else noticed that those who go sing their best when singing 'As Long As He Needs Me'?

  • That happened last year with the Josephs too and the closing number. At least they go out with a bang compared to falling flat.

I agree too, they should be given more musical songs to sing

  • Keisha really sucked in the sing off. No connection with the song whatsoever. Tara performed much better, and I think should have been saved.

  • me too.. keisha needs to go.

  • see its unfair on the girls, cos week on week, most of them sound awful doing pop songs, but in the singoffs doing proper show tunes they all shine.

  • I actually think that Tara was better in the sing off, which is supposed to be what ALW is judging from. Having said that over the course of the show so far Tara has been the less consistent of the two.
