You went out your way to make this video, thankyou very much, out of all thee track dollys iv seen, This ones the most straight forward! cheers for the know how. I will be visiting wicks this weekend!
@justjoemusic mine turned out crap, structurally weak. plus i did my holes roughly so they were bent. so a couple of the wheels didnt even touch the tubing
Hey I was on my way to get supplies to build a track dolly today and just happened upon your video.Great job,I will use the same techniques. One suggestion with the tracks would be to put two pieces of wood board under the length of each track then connect them with smaller pieces, sorta like a railroad track. This will allow you to set your track up on unlevel areas such as a hill or stairs, and outdoors.
@rickvanman haha yea my camera has seen a lot of near misses and bumps and drops but still survives although its now a backup... Think the Panasonics are built very well really which is a good thing as I can be a bit heavy handed haha!
Great video! I wonder if i take apart my old in line skates and the wheels are a bit worn if that will greatly affect the mobility of the dolly? Any input on that? I appreciate it!
depends how worn they are.... if there are huge chunks, dips and holes in the wheels then it will be rough and jittery but general wear should be fine.
thanks mate... im gonna make a couple more, paint them and make them look nice and give them away. Iv also had an idea on how to make one that looks even better and looks really professional.
nice copy of this /watch?v=I2C7W3AFVrQ. Thumps down mate
