Heh, me too. I've got about an hour of it recorded now. I've just gotta transfer it to a computer and put the audio commentary on it. I might redo it though because I've already gotten dangerously close to dying and I've missed a few things in the levels and had to go back to get 'em so I might just start the whole thing over. Haven't decided yet.
Hey I saw your boss battles faq, and it is really awesome. I never realized the attack patterns you mentioned, it's very intriguing. By the way congratulations on only having 14 stickers to go, I think I have 46 to go. And what is the website you talked about at around 4:22?
Yeah, after doing the same mode for literally months on end, you start to notice things so I just assumed that the bosses had to have been coded in some way and the similarities that happened every time I fought them were too coincidental to be "random" attacks so I decided they had to have some sort of pattern to their attacks so I started studying the videos and eventually I found some. Oh yeah, thanks for checking out the FAQ ^^
I haven't commented on your videos for a while, but I have been watching :).I think you should do the first option on the SSE, because of the stuff that would be there but isn't if you do option 2.
Also, that picture of Yoshi that you used made me sad, poor Yoshi...
Ha, the Yoshi picture is actually from a motivational poster called "Betrayal" remembering the time in Super Mario World on Butter Bridge when you use Yoshi for the entire level only to ditch him to go underneath the goal to get the secret goal post. I just cut the Yoshi part out of that and put the text underneath it ^^
I could make myself cry when I first saw that picture if I stared at it long enough, heh.
You should do the first option for beating the SSE. It can help out a lot of people if you show them. I already this option a month ago leaving only five "gold boxes" (whatever you call them), so that when I hve all CDs and trophies and when I have about 695 stickers, I can go back to collect the rest of the stickers and then be done. Thou it is going to take a while since I had to restart the WHOLE game because I got a new Wii two months ago because my last one broke down.
That sucks about the Wii breaking. I had my Melee data erased twice *glares evilly at my friend responsible* so I know how it feels to have your smash bros. data gone and have to redo all of it. Good luck with getting it all back and noted on your vote for the SSE.
I keep getting mad because before I used to have 542 trophies and I used to have 672 stickers and I had completed everything under intense. BUT NOW, I have to do everything all over again. I got Brawl in June and I completed the game in two months. Now, it's been nearly a month and I'm half way done but I still get mad like hell!!! I hate how you can't save your data on an SD card. -_-
I hear you on the SD card. I wanted to do that after I got all the characters and levels to make sure it wouldn't accidentally get erased but it wouldn't let me save it. So I'm just praying that my Wii doesn't give out on me (God knows I've dropped the thing enough times...). And I got my Wii the day the Wiis came out at midnight so I've had it for over 2 years now...
I got my Wii during March of 2007 and I got to be able to return it to the Best Buy where I bought it from. They said I wasn't going to able to return it by March of 2009 when I first got it so I returned it right away when it broke after saving my other data except SSBB, Mario Kart Wii, and GH: World Tour since they don't allow you to. Then I waited for nearly a month for the next time they got a new Wii. I went back like everyday but then it came out to be nothing. -_-
For the Intense SSE No Continue walkthrough, do the first option (New Game, possibly New Game+, if you REALLY need to use stickers to make it through without continuing.)
Saetrol's videos are a good comparison, though he had some unfortunate continues, particularly in The Great Maze.
I myself am currently stuck at 699/700 stickers. I, too, chose to SSE Intense No Continues, when I was at 695/700.
IT WORKED. Four new stickers by the end of the 100% file.
Gah, I'm going crazy over 14; I can't imagine how irked I'd be with just 1 left. If the stickers weren't completely random and there weren't 700 of them, it wouldn't be so bad but seriously Nintendo went overboard. I was just gonna go through SSE on easy to make sure I knew where everything was before going through the levels on intense. Thanks for the reference though; if I can't remember where something is then I'll check out his videos.
i think dude you should run through it purely new and then run through the same area again to get Toon Link and Wolf and the others. that's what i would do anyway. that way you can do a 100% walk through as well as to going through it new.
Hmmm. That's a good option. I'll probably do that so I can get the 100% because that was really the only "bad thing" I had against the first option but that would negate it pretty much.
Thanks. They're starting to irritate me though because whenever they reject a FAQ for formatting issues. They don't give you hardly any information as to what is wrong with it. I went through their "how to submit a FAQ" section probably 6 times rereading all their requirements and it's just confusing and they don't help you so this is the 3rd time that I've submitted it and I left them a nice note along with it explaining that I'm not stupid and they should explain why it's being denied
If you still can't get the FAQ in, you can always use a Freewebs site as a placeholder for the FAQ. I made one myself and its current purpose is a damage/kill/range table for each of Olimar's attacks that require Pikmin.
I'm intrigued about this website. GameFAQs currently has 211 FAQs waiting to be reviewed and they haven't looked at any of them in the past week and a half. Granted mine should be like number 11 I think so whenever they do decide to go through the giant stack of FAQs, I should know immediately. If it gets rejected for any reason, I'll ask you about a placeholder site.
use stiker drop increasing stickers. and i say you do what i do. ply through on your complete file, but try to pick the same characters you had at the time the first time through. or just use whoever. and if u get too infuriated eith sticker hunting, there are always golden hammers
lol nice. i dont want to eaither unless i get realy realy annoyed with it. not likely. i only used one and it was a stupid one so i dont want to now if i can help it
i'm looking forward to your S.E. walkthroughs.

I checked out the allisbrawl site, it looks really cool. And does it cost anything to register??????
Sonicbowling 3 years ago
All you need is a valid e-mail address to confirm the account. Other than that, there's no cost/commitment.

Galleom has only two attack sets, one of which has (get this) *seven* moves.
That should help with your FAQ on him.
MasterKnightDH 3 years ago
Interesting, I didn't think about 2 attack sets... I'll have to make notes. Thanks.
