  • I just realized Scottie kinda looks like Derrick Rose!

  • @huuuubaah LMFAO He's Drose's long lost father.

  • haha dennis has a little bit different approach... definitely ^^ favourite trio

  • stupid fucking question.. do u wanna be like Mike? Idiot..

  • scottie had sum nasty dunks in his days!!!

  • The interviewer is such a dick! He is making Scottie sound like a complete garbage player.

  • it is now "complacement", not "complacent" now.. haha cause scottie said it

  • Its not fair! The only person who could defend michael jordan was Scottie Pippen and they played on the same team!

  • @nateplaya88 and dennis rodman... lol

  • shyt he doesnt even need a micro to talk in a public place

  • gotta love pippen 1 of my favorites

  • the only thing scottie didn't have was a killer instinct lols ....

talent wise, offensively, mike was alot bett yea lols...

but versitility wise and shit lols, yea scottie did more crap.

better rebounder arguably, better defender arguably (or simply more versatile), better passer arguably (or ateast more willing), better all around shooter arguably (b/c of his depth at 3), better teammate easily lols....

so yea again, the only thing jordan has over him is scoring and clutchness.. :./

  • His voice hurts my eardrums -.-

  • Scottie was one of the best in his position. Michael was the best period!!

Dennis was the best rebounder and defender!! What you expect?? But Michael not getting Championships without Scottie?? I seriously doubt that..

  • @soloDiosmejuzga1 i don't think he would have got 6 thats at all but mj the best and scottie the best at his position like you said

  • "like scot, if i could be like scot

like scot, if i could be like scot"

  • Thumbs up if Jordan + Pippen + Rodman were the best trio that ever played in NBA!

  • you wanna be like Mike?playing in MJ shadow?

    Roy = redneck

  • You wanna be like Mike? You wanna be Mike?

-No...I wanna be like Scottie...Thats all i can be and thats all i ever want to be...

    PIPPEN forever

  • @b0bbyj4zz lolol. Yeah he kinda does now that you mention it. Also, does anybody know whatever happened to Roy? Haven't heard anything about him in a while. Does he still work for ESPN?

  • Anybody else think he looks a little like Q-Tip from tribe called quest?

  • wooooah bob ryan looks like sam clemens

  • This interview was taped in the middle of that 72 win season. Dam 72-10 fuckin unheard of.

  • He is a mix of Cleveland and Tay Zonday :D

  • No Scottie, YOU ARE the ULTIMATE DEFENDER, and one of the most versitle players ever to play on the court. Give yourself more credit.

  • No Big Three is greater than Jordan, Pippen and Rodman.

  • Scottie pippen and Dennis rodman. Along

    With Michael Jordan.:)

  • I love the Chicago bulls. This team was one

    Of

    The definitive moments

    In history for

    Basketball.:)

  • i wonder how big his penis is

  • @bundeligafan I think it's at least 10-12 inches, probably more

  • @bundeligafan Well then, why don't you contact him and try to find out?

  • Is that Jon Favreu interviewing him?

  • I remember when the bulls lost to orlando during the eastern conference semifinals back in 95, I remember thinking if they ever signed dennis rodman, that team would win 70 games, because they were missing a rebounder, the very next season, they sign dennis, go 72-10 and earned the greatest single season record in league history, and because of this, DENNIS RODMAN is a hall of famer, the most technically sound rebounder in the league since Moses Malone

  • it takes a team to win the championship...remember game 6 of the 92 nba finals, when portland took that 17 point lead against the bulls, phil jackson takes his starters out (which proved to be the right move), and what happens, the 12th man bobby hansen leads the charge of the greatest comeback in the history of the nba finals.......it takes a team to do it, and even though jordan is the greatest, him or scottie don't win ring 4,5,or 6 if dennis rodman is not a member of that team..period

  • So elegant and a class act. Soft spoken eloquent. They say they don't make them like that anymore...I love to see and hear him in videos over and over again. I wish he was still under the spotlight so that we could get more of him.

  • na i wanna be like scottie

  • I think that if Scottie pippen or

    Dennis rodman was still

    Playing

    Basketball today. You wouldn't

    Wonder why

    Those players

    On the team have

    Such a high winning

    Streak.:)

  • When you see him you expect so much different of his voice, I mean that voice doesn't fit him.

  • the bass is boomin out my speakers becuase of scotties deep ass voice lmfao

  • funny thing is without pippen jordan never wins all his rings/ and im a pippen hater/ 1 of the most under rated players of all time and 1 of the greatest defenders of all time

  • @5042024 he is not under rated

  • " I wanna be like scottie, that's all i can be,and that's all i ever wanna be. "

I love Scottie. I always could relate to him more than Jordan. So humble, respectful, and down to earth.

  • how you gonna have a deep voice AND be soft spoken? ha

  • Jordan NEVER took them further because Pippen still played in those games. & those houston and portland teams were good but they were still not the best team in the league.

  • how many of yal knew one of Jordans playoff appearances was with a 30-52 record....smh @ that

  • who else watched this vid to see how deep his voice was because of espn greatest sport voices

  • PIPPEN!! WAS FYE!!!

    NBA 2K11 :D

BY THE WAY TYPE IN PICASSO MJ

  • He look like steve urkel. But without the glasses and high pants.

  • this dudes just as humble as drose

  • @alopez206 When did Jordan have an excuse for ANYthing?

  • @Clyp what? r u talkin bout

  • @alopez206 I think I hit the wrong comment sorry man

  • Jordan knows he needed Pippen not even Jordan is that blind and ignorant. He couldn't even guide the Wizards to the 8th spot in arguably the WORST CONFERENCE OF ALL TIME. Never seen a conference so weak in my lifetime the 2 years Jordan played for the Wizards.& let me guess he was old? Well too bad dont comeback if your gonna bring excuses with you and with the 3-5 years he missed from his 1st 2 retirements he didn't have the true mileage you like to claim he had at 39/40 like Malone for example

  • @Nate187um

    ye malone you ass

  • number 2 out of top five is not bad

  • jordan would have been nuthing without the team .... its the team that wins games .. one man can make a difference but at the end of the day its the team that won the game

  • PIP WAS FUN TO WATCH DAMN MISS THEM DAYS

  • This guy needs to try some sulfur hexafluoride! I wish he did an evil laugh!

  • @Synnergy08 lol... that would be wicked. I wonder what James Earl Jones thinks about Scottie's voice

  • @Ron1nstar

I love 90s basketball BUT I gotta be real.......it was harder in the 80s to win a championship with the Bird Celtics and Magic Lakers.

  • When michael jordan was inducted into the basketball hall of fame, during his speech the first line he said was "in all the videos, you never just saw me, you saw scottie pippen, every championship i won" Being inducted to the hall of fame would be one of jordans greatest achievements and before even noting anything else to mention scottie is a true testament to the legend that scottie was.

  • @rokusho7 You haven't proven a point other than the fact that you haven't proven a point.

  • he sounds just like a character on family guy :P

  • @hoornrules u mean cleveland brown?

  • Also, have you noticed how happy these guys are on the team? Anyone having

That dream of making it big would love to play on the bulls or at

    Least the pacers!:)

  • Well, if you guys are wondering why

    The he'll Phil Jackson isn't

On the bulls anymore. I think that's a problem, because in a way he souled us out and

    Put us in a great

    Depression for

    Over

    Two decades. Long

Enough to make me fucking postale. So don't be telling Scottie it's fair!(:)

  • @Ron1nstar

    And vice versa....

  • Comment removed

  • I think Phil Jackson is the most underrated coach with respect to the fact that everyone always credits Jordan or Bryant for the championships. These guys never won a championship without Phil. Not even close to championship level without Phil

  • Scottie is what every one wants to be a Clutch player. hell yeah for Scottie

  • you wanna be like Mike ...scottie ...huh! you wanna be like MIKE! Dont LIE lol i saw that smirk

  • he be so good!

  • It's pretty cool that Scottie pippen was interviewed here. It shows that not only after his retirement form the bulls, that he loved the game he played and is very humble when it's time for an interview.:)

  • Way too modest. I don't do anything spectacular, great.... Guy had an incredible shot, incredible leaper, powerful dunker, fast, strong, one of the greatest defenseive players of all time....

  • I doubt during that season, the Chicago Bulls fans were "bored". And if Rodman were asked that question " Do You Wanna Be Like MIKE?" he would say, "Do you want your tongue replaced with your dick?" Who knows, the dipshit interviewer might have thought about it and said, "maybe."

  • LOL AT :03 look at that hair

  • I have mad respect for Pippen because he did not rock the boat. He could have said that he did not want to be # 2 anymore just like Kobe did in LA.

  • @Koloaboy96756 Phil Jackson's 2 3-peats wouldn't exist without Jordan and Pippen.

  • @rokusho7 Its been proven that Phil can win championships without Jordan and Pippen and its also been proven that Jordan and Pippen can't win a single championship without Phil.

So phil is the most important role in all of those championships

  • @Koloaboy96756 It's also been proven that Phil can't win w/o Michael Jordan. 94-95.

  • @rokusho7 It's proven he can win 5 more championships without Michael Jordan.

  • @Koloaboy96756 It's also proven that he can't win his first six w/o Michael Jordan.

  • @rokusho7 You realize you haven't proven a point and your just running yourself in circles?

  • wow that interviewer is bad

  • it seems like the media wanted scottie to bitch and get traded

  • michael jordan is a great player, and i consider him to be the G.O.A.T,but pippen is definately the B.O.A.T the best of all time,he was that good, but he was playing with a great player, and that never really give him the opportunity to shine his light in all its brightness, but it was bright enough to make him a champion in the nba and olympics, and now a hall of famer, well done MR.PIPPEN.

  • "i dont do anything spectacular or great" thats true humbleness but he knoe he made the bulls into a dynasty o yeah and also

HES THE GREASTEST DEFENDER EVER !

  • Scottie Pippen is an incredibly humble person and it really was "poetry-in-motion" watching him on the court. He's a close second to Jordan.

  • When I was growing up, I wanted to be like Scottie, not MJ.

  • is Scottie better than Kobe?

  • @SwaggaLeo maybe if he was alone he could of been but he was always a two

  • @SwaggaLeo hell yes.

  • Without Scottie Pippen there would be no Michael Jordan.

  • @Koloaboy96756 wow........just wow.....I think it is the other way around.......

  • @rokusho7 It could easily go both ways but the fact is Jordan needed Pippen in his 6 championship games. Pippen was a key player so many times...he wasn't the lead player but he definitely played a key role to Jordans greatness.

  • @Koloaboy96756

Michael as we now it today as a winner and champion.. but MJ got his second consecutive scoring title, DPOY and MVP in 88 (in his 3rd full season when Pippen was a rookie averaging 8ppg), 200 steals and over 100 blocks twice (only player to ever do that).

So MJ as a individual was doing his thing... MJ had to teach and groom Pippen to be tough and brave, especially against the Pistons (Pippen disappeared in many games when roughed up). So really no Pippen if no MJ.

  • this timothye kid has his head stuck up his ass. does he honestly think he has ANY fucking stats to prove his point? someone please burn this kid i don't have the patience to own his dumbass.

  • pippen overall was a better player when jordan left he still took em to 50+ wins and second round would have been finals if they werent cheated...but pippen was a humble player and like the announcer said better package pippen did everything...led the team in 7 diff categories and still a winning season without mj pippen should have been had a mvp trophy or a defensive player of the yr award...but its bs kause even when he was killin stat wise he was still in the dark

  • Michael wouldnt have won those championships without Scottie!

  • @jarock2009 I think they needed each other to really excel above, See if you knew their bond , Micheal said himself He needed scottie to really bring to bulls up and win championships no one can do it alone not even Jordan the great player that he was.

  • @jarock2009 Also wouldn't have won them without favoritism from officials.

  • @jarock2009 I think he would have...just not 6 of them.

  • @jarock2009 Scottie was the most important piece of the puzzle. The World knows it, we know it and Michael Jordan knows it.

  • reporter:"Do you wanna be like mike?"

Scottie: "No, I wanna be like Scottie"..CLASSIC! LMAO

  • Pippen was the one guarding the other teams best offensive player majority of the game NOT JORDAN which obviously wore Pippen down somewhat

  • @Nate187um really do u think that? cuz it's the exact opposite, jordan took the lead on both ends of the court, not sure if his defensive player of the year award kinda helps show that fact?

  • @jonnieos yea we all kno in the league jordan get severything im sorry but defensively pippen surpasses jordan...he kant play all 5 positions or lock down a player and then still go back on da offensive end...games tapes show da proof playoffs and all...jordan wasnt guardin shawn kemp alonzo mourning gary payton derek harper mark jackson john stockton penny and tim hardaway chris webber juwna howard when they were guud..plz jordan wouldnt be able to lock those guys down pippen better dfensively

  • LOL! I didn't expect hsi voice to sound like this..wtf

  • How can you even consider going 82-0? That team was insane...

  • Scottie Pippen is such a sweetie...

  • even with lebron playing with d wade next year, we will never see a duo like mike and pip!

  • Pippen took the bulls further without Jordan that Jordan took them without Pippen

  • @Nate187um oohh...not a fair comparison at all.

  • @Nate187um Thats the dumbest statement ive ever read.

  • @Kdubslugga - Nate is correct. You clearly have no clue what you're talking about. Scottie absolutely guarded the best opposing player on most nights.

  • @LetsWakeUp08 Congrats, you have overtaken Nate for the dumbest comment ever!! 91,92,93 with Jordan they win the Championship. 94,95 with out Jordan they dont win the Championship. 96,97,98 with Jordan Wow they win the championship again, but your right I have no idea what Im talking about!!

  • @Kdubslugga - No you Moron, they won with BOTH Jordan & Pippen those years. What's wrong with you? 2ndly, in 95, they lost with (guess who) Jordan & Pip that year. Refresher, that's the year that Mike came back midway through the season and Chi lost to the Orl Magic in the playoffs because JORDAN got stripped by Nick Anderson and then threw the ball away on a bad pass in the closing secs, thus losing the series for the Bulls. Do ur due diligence bud!

  • @LetsWakeUp08 So your counting a year where Jordan played 14 games? Come on. Look Pippen is awesome. But to make an assinine statement like that is just., well...assinine!! This argument is dumb, its irrelevent.

  • @LetsWakeUp08 are u an idiot seriously? reread what you said and please tell me you're not serious.

P.S. if you were serious then i'll give you some hints to help you find your massive error.

  • @Nate187um

could you exchange the players that jordan have for the pippen had?

  • @Nate187um There's really no need for a Jordan vs. Pippen debate. There's enough Jordan vs. Kobe and Jordan vs. Lebron out there. They were two great players who complemented each other well. If you're trying to say Scottie was underrated, that's true and he was because of his all-around game and the suffocating Defense he played. Why not leave it at that?

  • @Nate187um surely not to add insult to that comment but Jordan took them further don't forget the migrain in Detroit and the games Pip played sporadically Jordan is/was the threat. One team initiated the Jordan Rules the commisioner instituted no hand check rule to give the defender an advantage..Jordan was Jordan before Pip check the record he had better teams in portand and Houston and what??? No chip

  • @Nate187um yeah, but the bulls were already another team altogether in 1994-95, they were championship team, and that's what mj and scottie did TOGETHER. you cant compare 84-88 bulls with 94 bulls bro

  • @Nate187um Think of thee team mates though...

  • @Nate187um Very true BUT look who Jordan was going up against before he had Scottie: Magic, Bird, etc. in their primes. Scottie was playing against a bunch of "superstars" that never won a championship. Don't get me wrong. Not hating on Scottie. Him and Jordan together were an unparalleled greatness. They are part of the two best trios ever IMO: Jordan, Pippen, Grant, and Jordan, Pippen, Rodman. Bottom line they fed off each other and needed each other to do what they did.

  • SP33 FTW

  • i duno wats deeper his game or his voice

  • lol nigga has a deep ass vioce scottie was a great playa

  • I Wanna Be Like Scottie Too....

  • Scotty was the number 1 man on defense

  • I remember these days like it was yesterday. I hate the way they use to nuthug MJ day in day out. They couldn't even give Scottie a decent interview without putting him on the spot about Mike. Scottie deserved more then that.

  • "Roy: You wanna be Mike?

Pip: I wanna be like Scottie.."

-What a great guy, Understands and happy with his role

  • Definantly respect his happy playing his role............

  • great post...this is the greatest team ever to play in the NBA...don't get upset by the haters; that's what they do

  • I wanna be like Scottie too!

  • Best all around player in history. Respect to Scottie.

  • my fav player all day...killen kobe...lebron..and wade

  • They (Bulls) even seemed so wise and old even back then!

They have such a calmness and incredible passion to be absolutely dominanT!!!!!

  • Best Teamate

  • I absolutely hate how people push scottie to the side. He is the most underrated player in NBA HISTORY. He had to live in Mike's shadow his whole career, even after retirement.

  • scottie!!!yeaahhh!!!my hero!!!i wanna be like scottie!!!

  • scottie!!!yeaahhh!!!my hero!!!

  • I can't believe this guy man, he's so humble. I mean he's a total beast in the court but even then he still humble. 'And even then I don't try to invade his territory', he says about Dennis Rodman. 2 humble, just 2 humble (get it? I'm using 2 since he's the best 2nd option).

  • awesome player although he does sound like cleveland from Familyguy

  • True true. Funny.

  • "I wanna be like Sctottie. It's all I can be and that's all I wanna be."

This phrase gives me the folowing equacion:

Great Player + Admirable Personality = Outstanding Athlete

Scottie was one of the best players of his time and of all time! Hurts to know how underestimated he was. Scottie, you're great!

  • The only reason Scottie is looked at as a number 2 player is because he played with Jordan. Look what he did the 2 seasons Jordan was out. If you would of put Scottie on the Clippers or Warriors he would be your number 1 option. Even with some of the stars like Malone and Ewing he probaly would be your number 1 scoring option. On that Bulls team he had to be number 2 but he was the best number 2 i have ever seen in my life.

  • @Dmidgette1

as a scoring option, malone would not fall behind scottie

  • @txcchamp

    That's your opinion.

  • @FreshTiDef No, he was better! Pip had the best overall game in the nba (at that time) playing both with and without the ball and Malone can not play defence like him moreover Malone ( a great player) played powerfoward and pip played small

  • @FreshTiDef

    Pippen >>>> Malone all day.

  • I agree with you 100%! He had no ego and he like to share the ball. Scottie was one of my favorite players of all time. He is the most underestimated player ever as well.

  • @FreshTiDef Then at the same time why the fuck your stupid commenting on something that I wrote 4 months ago. You so fucking stupid.

  • @Dmidgette1 , you're a retard & you're overrating Pip. Pip was # 2 to Rasheed & here you are saying that he'll be #1 to Malone or Ewing. WTF? LAY OFF THE CRACK!

  • @FreshTiDef You and stupid bitch of a whore mother are idiots. Pip is a great fucking player. If you don't agree then you don't fucking agree that's your opinion and you are entitled to that. As well as I am entitled to mine. My opinion is he would of been alot of teams number 1. By the time he got to Portland Pip was past his prime. So go fuck your whore as Mother bitch.

  • @Dmidgette1 Oh yeah, and Pippen is just an overrated BUM!

  • @FreshTiDef Hahaha...look your your bitch-made Jordan nut-hugging ass. You're PATHETIC!! You're just another Jordan "Stan" trying to elevate Jordan by putting down Pippen. Jordan would be embarrassed by psychos like you. Take Jordan's dick out of your mouth son and get ready to hang yourself when Kobe wins another title like all the other faggot Jordan stans out there.

  • @FreshTiDef Jordan would slap you across you face for that talk. Jordan couldn't win a ring without Pippen.

  • @Dmidgette1 what about T-Mac when he played w/ VC in Toronto? pretty damn close

  • @SFO14 When you look at Vince/T-Mac and Jordan/Pippen it really aint now comparison.

  • @Dmidgette1 I know, but you said number 2...I'm not comparing Vince to MJ, just saying that T-Mac was the number 2 option in that tandem, and he was a pretty sick number 2.

  • @SFO14 did they win a championship

  • @scottiedoesntknow1 completely missing the point. T-Mac had MVP caliber seasons with the Magic, led the league in scoring, so we can't deny the man's talent level. I'm simply comparing the 2 b/c they had similar builds and somewhat were both explosive scorers and more than capable on the defensive end. just wish we could've seen what T-Mac and VC could've done if they stuck 2gether. that's the difference between the generations nowadays, it's all about the money and it degrades the game.

  • @SFO14 True, true but I mean they don't even come close to the duo of Pippen and Jordan. Vince and T-Mac both were great scorers and explosive but Pippen was the greatest defender Ive ever seen, something that Vince and T-Mac clearly are not, and Jordan was just amazing. They are different, you can't compare that duo to this duo.

  • @scottiedoesntknow1 completely agree, Pippen was the shit, probably the most underrated baller in NBA history. He was probably better than MJ when MJ came back from his first retirement (some may consider that statement blasphemy). but as far as duos go, VC and T-Mac were prolly the most fun to watch since MJ/Pippen...defensively there's no comparison. MJ and Pippen could dominate at both end of the court.
